QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in East Lansing

I’ve been going to this qdoba location consistently for the last 2 or so years. Recently, the experience has been subpar. I ordered curbside pickup this past Wednesday and got a bowl. The bowl was missing 5 ingredients that I had ordered and the portion sizes were incredibly small to the point where I could see the bottom of the bowl. The manager over the phone was very unpleasant and basically called me a liar saying it’s “very unusual that it was missing 5 things.” The only thing they could do for me was tell me to drive all the way back to get a new bowl. Which is very inconvenient considering I had already drove 20 minutes out of the way.

It’s been the same result for multiple of my recent visits. Whether it be missing ingredients, the wrong drink, missing silverware (after specifically mentioning it), and so on and so forth.

I went in for dinner and the young lady working was just so rude and dismissive. She basically dismissed when I wanted and lazily put my phone in a bowl to the young black woman with silver hair I think her name was Sherry or Cheryl or something like that you need to fire her she doesn't need to have that job if she doesn't respect the clientele for the fact that she's there doing a job. There was another young woman can't remember her name but it's a unique name and she was very nice and sweet. People need to understand that you're at a job and you have to have customer service you can't be rude and dismissive because you'll start to lose clientele for that business as you are losing...

It's frustrating to get back from a burrito place where they can't even wrap a tortilla. This corporate spot is the worst QDOBA I've been to. If it wasn't right next to my place I would never come to this spot. The other side of town has a spot that's franchised and they're much closer to a 5/5 rating than this spot is to a 3/5. This spot is constantly understaffed, they open late and close earlier than the hours on the posted schedule. Some days they can't even open, because they don't have enough staff.
