I went with my daughter and son in law. He had been to this restaurant several times before but on this particular night the service was horrible. I hardly ever eat out and was very disappointed with our server. I never was offered a refill on my coffee. I had to ask another server for it, because even after asking ours he didn't return with it. We should have received more pita bread and once again after asking he didn't return. He never returned after we got our food and my daughter had to finally go ask for our bill and some carry out containers. When he saw her do this then he finally noticed us and came with the check. I asked him if he had a problem with us and he said he was just busy. Well, if texting on your phone and chit chatting with a coworker is busy then, whatever. He served his table right next to us many times over and ignored ours. My kids were dressed in their usual hard rock tshirts and my son in law has long hair and my daughter has a nose piercing so all I can figure is we were judged based on appearances. They are computer science graduates, absolute geniuses and typically leave a sizable tip. We have never ever left without tipping until this time. In fairness my son in law goes here often with his coworkers and had never had bad experience but he said he never had this particular server either. Food was...

Honestly this place was awful from the moment we walked in. The hostess was extremely quiet and barely talked at all. Once we were greeted, our waitress dropped off our drinks and said she would be right back for our orders. We placed our order, my wife got a vegetarian grape leaf wrap with a fattoush salad and I got a chicken shawarma wrap with crushed lentil soup. The soup and salad were dropped off, both were good but definitely were the most sub par we’ve eaten compared to other middle eastern cuisine. Once our food arrived my wife’s order was wrong and they made a lamb grape leaf wrap rather than the vegetarian and my chicken shawarma has bones in it. They remade my wife’s in a fast manner but I asked if I could just switch to a vegetarian grape leaf wrap as well, our server said no problem at all, and after waiting a while for the replacement wrap, another chicken shawarma was dropped off. Our waitress then apologized and said the whole meal, everything was on them and it would be free, only to still charge us. If I could give this place a negative star, honestly I would. Save your money for gas and go to a better Mediterranean restaurant like Zaytoon, Taboon or La Marsa, even if you have to...
Read moreAfter a long day on the road and then on our feet during a college fair, this place was the stop we needed.
We tried the vegetarian combo platter and literally everything was delicious. The cold hommous, baba ghannouge and tabouli were served with plenty of pita while the warm items were prepared.
This was some of the most satisfying falafel I have ever eaten. It was full of herby goodness, browned on the outside yet tender on the inside.
There were only two of us, so we were quite filled up well before we had made a significant dent in our grain dishes. We had plenty of leftovers to share between the two of us later in the day, so essentially we got four meals out of the platter.
I tried the Turkish coffee. I hadn’t had any for about a decade and had forgotten how unique a flavor it was. I wish they had served it to me in a ceramic or metal cup, as I felt the disposable foam-coated cup detracted from its taste and the experience. That’s me trying to find a negative with my overwhelmingly...
