I recently had the pleasure of dining at Everyday Authentic Chinese Cuisine, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. I initially came across this restaurant through a recommendation from my Chinese colleague, and I'm grateful that I took their advice.
At first glance, the restaurant's facade may not catch your attention, and you might even overlook it as a potential dining spot. However, stepping inside changed my perception entirely. The interior was bustling with activity, filled with Chinese families enjoying their meals, which immediately assured me that I was in for an authentic experience.
As soon as I tasted the food, I knew I was in for a treat. The flavors were absolutely outstanding and genuinely captured the essence of authentic Chinese cuisine. We decided to sample a variety of dishes, and each one was a delightful culinary adventure. The dishes were so good that I was completely absorbed in their deliciousness, forgetting to take pictures as evidence of their presentation. (Hence, a lobster pic.)
To add to the excellent dining experience, the service was impeccable. While engrossed in conversation with my friends, the server gracefully attended to us, ensuring that our needs were met. They even kindly packed the leftovers without interrupting our conversation, demonstrating their attentiveness and professionalism.
It was evident why Everyday Authentic Chinese Cuisine is popular among the Chinese community. The attention to detail in each dish, along with the vibrant and rich flavors, truly made it an exceptional dining experience. It's rare to find a restaurant that stays true to its roots while catering to a diverse clientele.
Although I don't live in East Lansing, I can confidently say that I would go out of my way to visit this restaurant again. The quality of the food, coupled with the warm and inviting atmosphere, makes it a place worth returning to time and time again. If you're in search of truly authentic Chinese cuisine, I highly recommend giving Everyday Authentic Chinese Cuisine a try. You won't be...
Read moreI found out about Everyday Authentic Chinese Cuisine after simply looking around at Google Maps. The reviews intrigued me, and since I seek out unique dining experiences, I thought I’d give it a try! I will preface this review by saying that this is not a restaurant that really caters to the western palate, it is definitely more of an authentic Chinese restaurant. If you want more “Americanized Chinese”, there are plenty of other options in the Lansing area. However, if you want to be adventurous and try some authentic foods, this is the place for you! If you want the best dim sum I have had in the state, this place is definitely for you!
I had the orange chicken and dim sum and felt really satisfied with my meal. The orange chicken was pretty standard, but the dim sum was excellent! The menu was primarily in Chinese without any pictures for reference and the staff was limited in their English, but they really did try their best to help me understand what I was ordering. I really want to come back and try some of their pork belly and very fresh seafood. How many places in Michigan have live crab and lobster? Overall, this is a great place if you want to try some of the more exotic Chinese dishes without much...

Stir fry beef with chinese broccoli (kai lan) is a must try as the beef was really tender and the leafy Kai Lan was tender. Yong Zhao Fried rice has so many shrimps and it was really fluffy and well season with corn, eggs, carrots. Sweet & Sour Pork (vinegar) deep fried pork tenders was evenly coated with the orange coloured sauce dressing that makes it crapy outside with tender pork inside and has a tangy sweet sour after taste 三杯鸡 (3 cup chicken) for those that like mild spiciness - this is a must try as it cooked with dried chilies + onions and chicken thigh well season with oyster sauce &...
