Angel's LA Taco Food Tour — Restaurant in East Los Angeles

I booked this tour a week in advance and got a confirmation and reminder the day before. We took an hour-long Uber drive to meet Angel but he didn't show up. 10 mins after the meeting time he called us back and said he was sick and had to cancel the tour. I understand being sick and having to cancel but not telling us before we traveled across the city to meet him was really inconsiderate (we were fully reachable by phone, text and email and he knew we were staying in another area of town). I asked him to reimburse us the $80 we spent in Ubers to meet him then travel back to our hotel but he didn't even respond to my email. Don't book this tour unless you are prepared to have it cancelled without notice. He did refund the tour cost but it still ruined a night of our vacation and cost us $80 and 2 hours travel time because he couldn't be bothered to contact...

Angel is very knowledgeable about the East Los Angeles Taco scene. He will personalize the tour by asking what type of tacos you want to eat for the night. If you don't know he is a super solid source for good Taco STands and brick and mortar restaurants. He also has a nice safe spot for you to park your car while on the taco crawl. His car is super comfortable and spacious. My big surprise and delight was the Al Vapor Tacos food truck in Whittier. We ended the tour with made to order Churros from a Churros truck.
