La Central Bakery Restaurant — Restaurant in East Los Angeles

Located between N. Eastman Avenue and N Rowan Ave on 1st St. Sweet bread and decently sized "bolillos" (aka french roll/baguettes) are found at this location. The baguettes are made in a way that remind wife and I the baguettes from Ecatepec, Mexico (located in the state of Mexico).

A beautiful reminder of Mexico and its sweet offerings. Street parking is available. A bit difficult during morning drop off and afternoon pick up of kids (right across the street).

Used to be one of the best bakeries. Now there's little to no variety of sweet bread. You have to wait for the clerk to decide to stop doing whatever they're doing in the back so they can serve yo/charge you.
