Starbucks — Restaurant in East Los Angeles

Horrible.. I’m highly disappointed .I’m such a Starbucks fan and spend so much money buying teas and coffees because I just love Starbucks. I was so happy and excited about this new Starbucks near me but it’s honestly horrible. 1: When paying My father gave her the money and gave her his change but she ignored him and just took the cash. She flat out rejected the change and ignored him when he told her “ here’s the change “ he wanted to use to pay. 2: They messed up my order and when they re made it,the re made coffee was mostly just foam. Instead of a hot coffee I should’ve asked for a cup of foam because that’s what I got. 3: The girl and this guy were flirting and he had his arm around her shoulder so instead of flirting maybe she should’ve made our coffee right. This public display of affection shouldn’t be at a workplace. This also might’ve been the cause as to why she horribly made my drink since she wasn’t paying attention to her customers. 4: When she gave us our order she was very rude and unhappy as if she hated her job. Honestly if she didn’t want to work then she shouldn’t have gotten a job. Lack of positivity in a working environment hinders the work place and it made me extremely uncomfortable.

I’m very disappointed to have had this experience because I love Starbucks and talking to the nice workers but this place disappointed me in many ways. I will definitely recommend my family and friends to avoid this Starbucks. It’s such a disappointment that this new establishment has horrible customer service. You would assume that Starbucks a world famous establishment would have picked their workers carefully but...

This is a relatively newer Starbucks, so if you've seen it you've mostly seen like the drive-thru line. I scoped it out on Google maps street view to be sure, but it also has a small sitting area and a walk-up window so I figured I'd use those gift cards that have been in my junk drawer for ages and set it as my destination on a bike ride.

I parked my bike next to a table and ordered a pastry and cold brew. My wait was minimal, there was plenty of space for my bike (and plenty other tables left over) and for me to enjoy my purchases with the line of cars steadily moving through and back out to East LA traffic on a Monday morning. Major Shout out to Brianna, Julio, Ray, and Jesus S!!!! This staff was so kind and helpful. We had Career Day at our elementary school and this Starbucks donated 2 travel boxes of coffee for it. I called about 5 Starbucks stores to ask for the donation and only this one was willing to cover both. All the others said they required a week in advance. Most of them didn’t even want to contact their manager to help us out. This Starbucks and Staff went above and beyond to help me last minute.
