First, the Mei Fun (when it was fresh and not crunchy) is super delicious, perfectly tasting, seasoned, and cooked rice noodles with bok choy, green cabbage, carrots, onions, and egg...and it was about the only thing I ate on this buffett during my lunch...personally it would be better to just get a side order of Mei Fun to go...this is the only bright spot, and the reason for giving them a "2" and not a "1" or zero if I could... Everything else was not too good...chicken and beef dishes all tasted gamey, funky like some alternate forms of meat...the chicken skewers were totally dried out and chewy... Plus, everything which was deepfried was done so with old grease, so their taste was, well, greasy and not the best, even when they came out hot and fresh...it's a shame, because I think they have a nice light batter (almost like tempora) which the sweet and sour chicken was cooked in, but because of the old grease, I will never know... The fried rice and lo mein noodles were both just plain awful (for lack of a more descriptive word)...the fried rice taste was just not right, again it was funky with the rice overcooked and too moist...and the lo mien was overcooked and mushy, even the new batches that were brought out... The egg drop soup was full of chunky eggs, and not smooth and silky, definitely not made with the correct patience of adding the eggs to the hot broth...their wonton soup had macaroni noodles in it (yuck!)... They also have a "Mongolian style grill, but the grill was not very clean, it really needs some work, or a new grille installed...but the bigger problem was my food...it was so overcooked by the "chef" that it was dried up and chewy, pretty non-edible for me...it's a shame, because if it would have been properly cooked, it would have been such a tasty topper for the Mei Fun... Also please note, I cannot speak for any of the seafood they serve since I have allergies to seafood...maybe all their seafood dishes and sushi bar were good, I cannot tell you since I cannot eat any of it ever (but they looked greasy and funky too)... Desserts were all from boxes, nothing homemade, and they lacked any almond cookies...and the ice cream cooler was broken so no ice cream... Decor was basic, but the table tops were scratched and carved into, and the seat cushions were torn in many spots... The worst thing about my visit was the men's bathroom, it was really in bad shape (see images), this part of this restaurant needs serious work! Not sanitary or even safe. If I were to have been a health inspector, I would have shut the place down on the spot until they fixed it... And finally, the price they advertised for lunch (Mon-Thurs) here on Google Maps is $9.99...I was charged $14.43...that is a 40% difference in their advertised price online...this is quite deceiving! I would NOT recommend eating in this establishment, unless you were ordering the Mei Fun made fresh as carry out... Namaste ~ Bodhi

We were hoping to have a great buffet to go to on our seasonal stay in Naples. We arrived before 4pm after being at the gym next door to pay $15 lunch. We confirmed in advanced that arriving before 4pm cost $30 when we artivef we confirmed with the hostess who also had a person come over to us to confirm what she had said. When we received our bill it was $20 pp. we told our server it was supposed to be $15pp. Manager said no, and after much discussion & explanation, he would not budge because a dinner item of coconut shrimp was now on the serving table. Then he said you have to LEAVE by 4p…. WHAT…WOW!! False advertising!!!! Food-fair, server was nice. Manager-very unprofessional, poor temperament on how he handles our situation for $10 & obviously not a smart business man… at all. ( I own my own business) Unfortunately, they have lost us as customers. A good experience is shared once, a bad experience is shared many. Good luck & tread careful is you eat here.

This was one of my favorite places to go but I went in and spent twenty-five for lunch. I swore the prices were 12.00 but weekend lunch is “all day dinner”, which also went up for prices. The prices for food aren’t even listed inside the dining room they’re in the front on the side when you walk in. Service was OK. But I’m getting real tired of going to places with the listed menu on Google maps be almost 10 dollars cheaper then the menu in the restaurant. It feels like every restaurant has upped menu prices but never taken down their old menu on any of their stuff or don’t care to do so. If I was going to spend 25 dollars on lunch I would’ve went somewhere else.

THIS IS A DURING COVID-19 REVIEW

Restaurants have been struggling due to the pandemic, so resources are stressed due to low business. Please understand, this review is based on what was available due to their budget.

The variety of food was a 5 of 10, being just about enough diversity of food that could cover most necessities for everyone. The general food quality was fine and get the job done, but nothing out of this world. The food quality diminishes a little with the sushi, not from variety but just quality; the sashimi tasted a little old, which isn't something you want from a raw fish sushi. Sushi standards should be as high as possible due to the risk of eating them in the first place. Desert wise, forgive me, but it was definitely on the lower 3 score. The cheesecake was definitely old and becoming more cheese than cake, pudding is very basic, pretty much all of the varieties felt old and below basic.

The service was a decent 6 of 10. I can't say anything about the service. They waitresses were fair, attentive and respectful. I can't really say much there.

The sanitation is the rough one, 2 of 10. The cleanliness was not up to par. Where the food was concerned, it's clean and fair. As for the rest of the restaurant. There are definitely food hazards, just not pests wise. The walls where we sat had sauce or something dripping from the walls. The walls had paint damage, damage on the seats, and more. It doesn't help we are in the middle of a pandemic, and you're not spacing anyone out either. Everyone is packed like sardines which also drops another star for me.

The presentation just doesn't stay up to par either, 5 of 10. It's not horrible, but it's missing a few things where everything overall is concerned.

An inspector is necessary, but to IMPROVE not to destroy. There is potential here, just needs the resources and the...

I've been coming to this buffet for a several years now and now I don't plan on coming back ever. The server is extremely rude and confrontational. She didn't come at all to check on us or ask for refills on our drinks. When the time came to pay the bill she handed us the check with the gratuity amounts circled at the bottom. When giving us our chnage back she gave us large bills to try and get a bigger tip. she stood right by us when we were gonna give her the tip to try and pressure us by her presence to give her more than what she deserved. After she started getting upset for giving her the appropriate amount that she deserves for not even asking once for a refill on drinks. (She wasn't even the one who bought the drinks in the first place or taking the plates that we finished) She then tried to grab the receipt and aggressively point at the gratuity amounts while trying to make a scene and tried to prevent us from trying to leave the establishment. Absolutely disgusting deplorable behavior by the server that didn't even bring the drinks out to us. It's extremely unprofessional to try and bully your customers for a higher tip you don't deserve. You serve yourself as you would any buffet. The only thing the servers do is bring your fountain drink and refill it as needed and take the plates you're done with. That's it. Everything else you do on your own. You don't deserve a 20+ dollar gratuity for 3 people at a buffet. The only regret I have is not taking the tip I left after the fact she tried to harass us and make a scene all the while trying to block us from leaving. Extremely entitled behavior from a server that doesn't even deserve the tip she demands. Teach your servers to not do that to customers as I'm not the only reviewer who's had issues with the staff bullying the...
