Recently moved to Naples a couple months ago and was excited to find a go to restaurant. I had just received the 239 Local flyer in the mail with January 2025 specials in which Baci had an ad (see attached). I saw they had a happy hour special, Mon-Fri from 3-9pm for $16 which included a salad, garlic knots, cannoli and choice of various pasta dishes. I went to the restaurant tonight with my girlfriend, Friday, 1/3/25 at 6pm and was seated and given the regular menu. I asked about the happy hour menu and the waitress denied it existed. We told her we saw an ad for it in the flyer, and she again denied it and stated there were only specials that we needed a coupon for. I did not have the flyer with me as the happy hour ad was not a coupon and I reiterated to her what was listed in the ad, but again, she denied it existed, so we left very unhappy without ordering. To me, this appears to be a bait and switch, and I would avoid this restaurant. UPDATE: After speaking to the owner, he initially said that it was a misprint and supposed to be 2-5pm for happy hour as in December's flyer. When I pointed out to him there was no ad at all for Baci in December's flyer he back tracked and got belligerent. His response was it was not in my December flyer because he did not have it printed in the "North Naples" 239 Local Flyer, despite it being in the same flyer for January. At some point in the conversation, he said he would make it right and honor the misprint, but I had to take down this review. I said before I accept, I want to understand this was an accident, especially since his waitress denied they even had a happy hour...he then said he does not like me questioning what the waitress said, and he does not want me in his restaurant nor to come back and proceeded to hang up on me. He obviously got caught telling multiple stories and got mad. I would avoid this place so you do not fall for this same ad and deal with the owner's rudeness.

Baci Trattoria & Pizza in Naples is a hidden gem that offers an authentic Italian dining experience. Their pizzas, especially the Margherita with fresh homemade mozzarella, basil, and tomato sauce, are a must-try. The crust is perfectly crispy, and the flavors are well-balanced. Beyond pizza, their menu features a variety of Italian classics. Dishes like linguini with clam sauce are loaded with clams and garlic, cooked to perfection. Portions are generous, ensuring you leave satisfied. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, reminiscent of a cozy New York pizzeria. The staff, led by owner Frankie, is friendly and attentive, making you feel like part of the family. Whether you’re dining in or opting for takeout, Baci Trattoria & Pizza consistently delivers high-quality food and service. It’s no surprise they’ve been a local favorite for over 25 years. For anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine in Naples, Baci Trattoria & Pizza is the place to go.

Little hole in the wall. Not the cheapest but possibly the best pizza in Naples! Our server took good care of us which is rare at many places these days. The margarita was my favorite but others in my party loved the "Grandma" (note: sausage is sliced very thin like the pep - I will skip it in the future). I enjoyed it as well but the Marg just hit all the right notes for me. If it's not the best in town it's definitely at the top of the list. The garlic bread with cheese was also a hit. Not fancy or special really but they didn't skimp on the garlic butter so it was tasty. Also had the meatball roll which was good too but I would probably pass on it unless I was grabbing a quick lunch to go. I'd have to order the meatballs on the side to compare to my two other favorite pizza places. They slice the meatball thin so between the cheese, sauce, and bread it's not a standout.

Knowing that their move to a new site shortly may mitigate some of what I found less than 5* rating. Our server was great, helpful, friendly, gave what appeared to be heartfelt recommendations, attentive, a pleasure! Because of the small size of the restaurant and lack of space between the tables and the pizza ovens, the air was very smokey and unpleasantly so. I can burn things in my own oven but not when I spend $60 for a diet coke, a glass of wine, and two pasta dishes. In fairness, the pasta dishes were very good. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs and I had Bolognese over Ziti. The portion was large enough for us to take home another meal. But bread was served without oil or butter. Why would we want bread without something either on it or that we could dip it into? Back to the pasta. It was well cooked, no complaints there. My husband was happy with his Spaghetti and Meatballs but I have never had Bolognese with peas. Nor have I noted recipes with that ingredient. Doesn't mean it wasn't correct but I am not fond of peas. I pushed them aside so it was no big deal and the sauce was delicious so maybe it needed the peas. I think next time we will get pizza. They looked excellent! And we will wait until they have moved to their new digs off Bayshore Drive. Our server assured it will be larger with an expanded menu - something to...

Today I visited the new location my review is strictly based off of my own personal experience. The restaurant was nicely done big improvement from old location. Food was exactly the same I do enjoy the fresh vegetables on my pizza 5 stars for the food and the restaurant. I can only give 3 stairs for the service. I have dinner at Baci old location serval times and each of those times felt welcoming like a real home family pizzeria. This visit today at new location that Vibe was not there. First we had to ask to order soda drinks instead of water. Was never asked for refills, and the Biggest upsetting was we was not Thanked or See you next time. Got bill we paid after we got the card we was kinda surprised of not feeling valued as a customer. Would I dine inside again? Honestly I doubt it. I will order my pizza to go simply because the pizza is good. Please bring back that welcoming feeling like it was in the old restaurant. Something felt way off today. I am sure its very stressful moving to a new location but hospitality will go a long way. A simple Thank you come again. Its the small things that bring me back everytime. 5 stars for the food for that reason only I will order...
