Alex’s Steaks & Wings — Restaurant in East Norriton Township

Can’t say enough about the experience we recently had before, during and after we ordered delivery from Alex’s!! We were having a mid-week family get-together and were ordering food. My husband had tried Alex’s a couple months ago and insisted we order from there the next time we had cheesesteaks. I called ahead to ask about the details of the steak tray (I ordered 2 trays, each with 18 halves). I believe I was speaking with Alex who assured me they would deliver in the timeframe I needed for the next day. I received a call the next day confirming everything and sling me how I wanted the steaks cut and what condiments to include (a great way to help me feel confident things were going to work out). The delivery person was right on time and very courteous! I was amazed at the size of the steaks,-and hadn’t seen or eaten one when someone told me the steaks were absolutely delicious…and they were to me too!! We had both the beef and chicken cheesesteaks-not sure which was my favorite! The price was very reasonable-less per steak if I ordered individually. The leftovers were great too! I was in town for work and decided to find a good cheesesteak. After some online searching, I found this spot not far from me. The reviews and photos looked too good to pass up, so I made the trip—and I’m so glad I did!

The place is small but clean, and the gentleman behind the counter was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I ordered a cheesesteak and six wings, and the moment I picked up my bag, I knew I’d hit the jackpot. This thing was heavy—it felt like it weighed 10lbs! 😂

The delicious smell got the best of me, so I opened the bag as soon as I got to the car. Let me tell you, it was amazing. The cheesesteak was massive—seriously, the size of my upper arm—and the wings were huge too. Normally, bigger doesn’t always mean better, but in this case, it absolutely did.

For only about $25, I got more food than two people could finish, and everything was top-notch. Quality food and great service like this are hard to find, but this place nails it.

I tried this place for the first time. Best place in Norristown to get a cheesesteak. I ordered a regular sized with American cheese, onions and mushrooms by phone. 10 Minutes later I picked up my order as this is not a sit-down restaurant. First off, I was impressed with the way it was packed. In a paper bag, with your name and phone number, which is a good idea, on the receipt. The sub was wrapped in a generous amount of paper and again in a layer of aluminum foil. No chance of leaking in your car. The sub is huge. Much longer than a standard sized plate, at least 2 meals worth. The roll was outstanding and probably made Next Door at Corropolese Bakery. The rib eye was a generous amount, hot and delicious.
