Whether you’re in the mood for cocktails, sushi, hibachi, or Korean BBQ 👉 Kabuto 📍2650 Dekalb Pike, East Norrtion, PA has got it all 🔥🥢 Bring your whole family or enjoy a fun date night with flaming cocktails, vibrant sushi rolls, fried rice and hibachi grilled proteins, or their limited time offer — All You Can Eat Korean BBQ and sushi for only $26.99‼️ We enjoyed drinks at the sushi bar before joining our table for hibachi where the chef kept us laughing endlessly as he prepared our dinner. A night out at Kabuto is most certainly worth the drive from Philly 👍 #hibachi #sushi #foodietiktok #foodietok

Atmosphere ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ My friend and I went to this restaurant on a Friday night. The atmosphere feels charming and high-end. There are regular tables, I assume its for customer who only order sushi. They also have large tables for habichi grill where the chief performs and cooks in front of you. My friends and I decided to go for the AYCE sushi and BBQ, so we sat at the BBQ grilling table. Services ⭐ ⭐ - There are many options, BBQ, Hibachi, and sushi. It was our first time here so we are very clueless. Once we got seated, we are confused on how this thing works. The server came, but didn't try to explain to us how it works or greet us. At last we asked the manager to explain to us how the AYCE works. - we ordered 3 rounds. The first round we ordered 10 items. Only 6 items came. So we ordered round 2. This time we ordered 5 items and only 4 items came. Lastly, we ordered 2 items and scratched off 2 items. The 2 items that was scratched off came and the other 2 items that we actually wanted didn't come. They definitely need some management here. - In the meantime, no servers really comes by and check in on us. We have to constantly ask for the next rounds and refills. Giving it a 2 stars not 1 since the staffs are still friendly just not as responsive. Food ⭐⭐ - The food is not as good considering the price that you're paying for. You can definitely find better food quality elsewhere. We got majority beefs and the beefs are flavorless and hard to chew. The one I remember the most is the brisket. That brisket composed of 90% fat. We also got the pork belly. Even the pork belly is not as fat as the brisket. - the food came in a large quantity, stacked up like a mountain. The brisket we ordered came in at least 15-20 slices in one order. We ordered the short ribs and one order is at least 10 there. The portion here is humongous. I believe they just want to get us full and leave. Gratuity - There's 5 of us and at the end of they added a manual gratuity of 22% to our check. So if you do go, be aware unless you wanted to double tip them. Overall: DON'T RECOMMEND!

I give this place another year before it’s out of biz. I did not have an extensive wait but it’s telling that all six (!) of the staff behind the sushi bar sat on their phones for the duration of my time here. One gentlemen sat in front of me for the entire duration of my meal without getting up or doing anything. A customer sat down next to me and asked for help - he pointed across the room at someone else and said they’d be over shortly. It’s fine that they’re a barback but you’re legit sitting in front of us, pretend to be working at least. A beautiful restaurant inside, with a lackluster menu and staff. This place stands prime for a takeover of an interested owner. I asked for appetizer recommendations: “I recommend this one but it’s unavailable and don’t recommend any others” of ~10 options. I ordered an app anyways and it came some time after the special rolls / entree. The nigiri options were basic and lackluster and three were out of stock (86). Again, wild. Nothing noteworthy which was disappointing. The rolls were ok. If you like cream cheese in your rolls please disregard my entire review, it’s not for you. You’ll be fine. I took the two recommended special rolls and they were palatable but neither I’d order again. The app I did get was the five piece nigiri which had 2-3 of the same sauces dumped over the cuts including plain sriracha. What! Wow. Zero effort. Yikes. On a positive note, 4 of the 7 pieces of fish I ordered sushi that they were able to fulfill were fresh enough I’d order again if I came back, which I won’t. I wouldn’t turn down this place by their supplier, which can be an issue for some. Nitpicking hardcore but I do wonder however about the raw salmon which arrived room temperature or above. The other pieces were slightly chilled as they should be but the salmon as lukewarm. I don’t know I’ve ever been served it that way but it made me think about whether I should have eaten it as it was unappetizing. Final positive note - super inexpensive meal!

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my life. I love hibachi and decided to make the trip from Allentown, PA to Kabuto based on the great reviews and also because it was my birthday and I found a Birthday coupon on their website for a Free Hibachi Dinner with a purchase of equal or greater value. (Never does it specify that you have to purchase 2 hibachi dinners) They closed at 10pm but my boyfriend called to make a reservation for 915pm, yes I know it was late however we called ahead and they said the kitchen would still be open at that time. When we arrived the couple ahead of us asked for hibachi so they sat all 4 of us at the same table. It took 15 mins for us to receive our drink order and when the server came back the other couple seated with us decided to sit in the front of the house and order sushi instead. By now I felt like we weren’t welcomed and they didn’t really want to serve us because of the time. Who appeared to be the manager told the server in front of us that the kitchen was about to close, but they were the ones who didn’t even take our order until after 930. Before I ordered I presented my coupon and showed my ID to validate that it was my birthday. The server stated that because It’s my birthday and I have the coupon that my hibachi dinner would be free up to $25. Which was different than what the coupon stated but that’s what the server told me. When my boyfriend didn’t order Hibachi they said that in order for them to fire up the grill and do the show at least two people would have to order a hibachi, but I could still order it, have it prepared in the kitchen, eat at the front of the house, and still use my coupon. I understood it made since. We waited another 5 mins and had to replace our order. My soup and salad was brought to me without utensils and the manager came over and told me that I couldn’t use my coupon because I was not ordering Hibachi. I told him that I am ordering hibachi but your server said we had to eat it at the front of the house due to the fact that I’m the only one ordering it. The manager than said that I can only use my coupon if I’m eating hibachi at the back of the house at the grill. What! I told him that’s not what your server told me and the coupon doesn’t say anything about that. And if I’m ordering hibachi why does it matter where I eat it. After 10 mins went past and our Sushi was brought out along with our utensils the manager came back over and told me I couldn’t use my coupon. This was after our order was placed and we were already eating the first courses. The manager told me that he’d only take my sushi off and I’d have to pay for my hibachi dinner. I told him that’s not what your server said. He asked me who the server was as if he didn’t see him taking our order. I described him and he repeatedly asked me who he was as if I was just making him up. I told him he can bring his servers to me and I’ll point him out. He refused to honor the coupon and ignored the fact that we came all the way from Allentown, it was my birthday, the server said we could use the coupon, and we had already ordered and began to eat. So my boyfriend and I walked right out! Never again will I go there. Whoever was the closing supervisor/manager on Sat May 19th 2018 needs a lesson in...

The worst dinning experience I have ever had in my life from the Four Seasons to Mc Donald's. I've never written a bad review no matter how I may have felt. I would not do that but YOU NEED to KNOW. We were 6 people who entered the restaurant on time at 7 Pm. The place was about 15 to 20% full. The waiter came to take our drink orders and seemed a bit overwhelmed at that point trying to get the order straight. Thirty-five minutes later no drinks no waiter; one person from the party saw the waiter making the drinks. No bartender. When the drinks finally came the waiter was confused who ordered what. When he took our orders it was bizarre to say the least. He just couldn't get it straight. Finally, we thought he did its now about 8:15 PM NO FOOD. The food came piece-meal, he had NO Help to boot. All the soups were COLD, the restaurant was freezing as well. We told him the soups were cold; he took them back; then out came some entrees about 2-3 while the soups were being reheated. Then came the soups and still no other entrees. It was mass confusion and he had NO HELP. So at this point we were waiting for all the entrees to be served before we began to eat.. It was bad . The entree my wife ordered was incorrect; he was told this, he took about another 10 minutes telling us were were wrong!!! Believe me we were right 4 of the people at our table confirmed it. I said nothing cause I was not sure. SO WE WAITING and WAITED for the correct order to come out we wanted so long we cancelled my wife's dinner because all of the other people were finished.

I asked to speak to the manager for a bill adjuster since the night was a complete waste of time and a terrible disappointment. He was was unyielding and simply had no manners or clue about customer service. He laughed like i was tellinhim something that didn't happen. Other people in our group told him the same. He could care less. He wanted us to pay the full bill and offered a $25.00 gift certificate to return. What a JOKE.. FOLKS SAVE YOUR MONEY...DON'T THINK OF GOING HERE GO TO BLUE FIN. I had to put one star on this review to get it published...it does not...
