Jersey Gourmet — Restaurant in East Orange

Older Asian man, teaching his employees to scam, sign says 3 combo for 10.75 including a base with noodles at an extra cost. I ask why they only gave me noodles and two items and she says that’s all it come with. I point to the sign and they say it’s always been 3 items including the base. They better change that next time I go in because otherwise they some scammers for real, charging me extra for a third item. Trying to make me look stupid. Edit: they responded with saying I got three items but not referencing how much I paid, it cost me much more than 10.75, almost 17 dollars after the extra noodles and an extra item cost…mind you I’m okay paying extra for noodles but not paying extra for a 3rd item when it was suppose to...

Disgusting. This is my 3rd time eating here and it will be my last. The food was disgusting. The fried chicken still had blood in it. The customer service was terrible.. One of my primary reasons for going there was to sit n eat n the cashier kept suggesting we Take it to go. I should of left right then n there. The lo mein was cold and tasteless. And the boneless rib tips tasted funny. If I don't get diarrhea it'll be by the grace of God.. It was good when they 1st opened but as usual these these places always lower their standards when it comes to Black people. Also they had dish detergent in the bathroom instead of hand soap.. Shut this nasty place...

I went and did the buffet option. It was a little weird because the person at the counter gets a plate and you have to point and pick what you want. Then you go over to a table and eat. If you want more you have get back in line with other customers who might be getting takeout and sometimes it could be a little wait time. Most of the food was good but stay away from the spring roll and lo mein those were the worse. The female server is very friendly, the guy not as much. But overall a good place to stop and grab...
