Tribe lounge — Restaurant in East Orange

The parking in this area is difficult so we had to walk far. Then the were a lot of steps to the entry so ladies don't wear heels if you go here. We had to pay a cover to go in. I was so disappointed once inside because the place was empty. It was not lively at all. The wait for suya was extremely long. Especially considering they gave such a small portion served in a little serving dish for $10. The presentation was terrible. Was not appealing at all. The drinks were ok. The music was ok. There were 2 out of shape and unattractive girls in orange swimsuits walking around drinking and smoking hookah. Not sure what the purpose was. A boy that goes by the name of “Junie” keeps harassing me. On the Wednesday night of April 28th between 11:20 and 11:29pm he left the VIP section to dance around me and beside me by the bar facing the DJ. I then moved so that he would not touch me in purpose. Then when I moved he couldn’t see me but I could see him searching for me. I text someone to form a time stamp so that I could form a police report. This person is now accusing me of bothering them, trying to flip the script! The police would like the clip that matches that time stamp. I want to go back to this bar as I like it despite the scary person that keeps bothering me. I would like the bar to help me and the police with there investigating! Thanks greatly...

I love it here. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. The food is amazing ! I recommend the beef suya and Mac. The DJ is on point and keeps the crowd going all night long. The drinks are made perfect; not watered down or too strong for a good price! It’s a perfect spot if you just want to eat, want a quick drink after work , or even celebrate your birthday ! I like how they have different things going on for each day such as Karaoke Tuesday and even dance classes! Plenty of places to sit. Reasonable cover charge. Even the bathroom is clean lol.
