McDonald BBQ — Restaurant in Orange

I went there today around 1150/ 12pm. I figured let me go early so it won’t be crowded. After waiting 15 mins the old guy announced that there were no ribs ready and they won’t be done for 25 mins. I went to my car and came back to ask if I could order the ribs now and come back for them. Before the words could come out he cut me off and yelled I know You heard what I said...no ribs yet. I said I know I just want to order it and come back to pick them up when they are ready. He said no we don’t do that. I left and went to shop rite to kill time and came back 25 mins later. There was a little wait, but when I was Next he looked at a guy standing behind me and told him his food was almost done. I asked If he ordered ahead and was picking up he said yes. At this point I’m even more pissed because the guy said they didn’t do things like that! So when I went To order I said Can I have 2 orders of beef ribs and he cut me off and said no they aren’t ready...I said Are you serious how long? He said 25 mins. I then asked about garlic shrimp and he says they don’t have any. Smh I waited and stalled around waiting for this place just for every time it was my turn to order to be told something else. It’s horrible...I really Wanted barbecue! I will NEVER GIVE THIS PLACE MY MONEY! EVER! All that waiting...

UPDATE!!!!! They have completely lost my business. Last time I patronized this place the older gentleman who was the owner, Handed me my food in a bag that had BLOOD on it. He said it was KETCHUP!!! I've been working in the healthier field for long enough to know the difference between blood on the brown paper bag and ketchup on a brown paper bag.. Never again!!

The food is really good. Ok, wait. Let me just say the RIBS are great. I dont partake in anything else because the presentation isnt the greatest. The one thing I absolutely hate is the customer service and the cleanliness of this place. The owner is a a major player in this. He isnt cordial to his customers at all. Seems like he has a chip on his shoulder. They're use of gloves gets an F because he will make your food AND take your money with the same gloves!!!!!

Parking lot is small and barely has any empty spaces.

Because they still get patronize, he will never make changes. The health dept needs to come in a do spot checks. I'm sure they will get fined out the whazoo!! 2 stars is...

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. First of all a health inspector needs to stop by here because this place is so dirty. It was an infestation of flys everywhere. If you peak in the back you saw the floors was dirty and it was nasty looking back there. The workers clothes looked dingy and nasty as well. The workers there had an attitude and they looked angry. He told me cash only and then the atm wasn’t even working. It’s 2024 who does all cash anyways. The food was cold and bland and wasn’t fresh. That cornbread is disgusting and the Mac and cheese is bland and the curry doesn’t even taste like curry. Don’t time your time here!!!!! Should’ve known this place was a red flag when you get a dinner with two sides and cornbread for $11-$15 bucks. Bad attitudes nasty food...
