Forman Mills — Local services in East Orange

I love going to this store for clothing for my children and grandchildren. Oh yes, I’m a grandmother of four beautiful grandchildren. When you still have a teenager and young adult still at home shopping never stop. I’m not what you call a label h*e. I buy quality clothing at and affordable prices. Which sometimes just happens to be designer. This place has a variety of choices in clothing. They have now branched into household goods and plenty of other merchandise. I go here mainly for clothing of every type and size. As well as shoes of various types. This store is for the budget conscience person. You can’t go wrong with jeans going from $7.99 to $60 sales prices. I recently purchased 12 plaid shirts at 3 for $10. Of course with that type of sale. I loaded up on shirts for my son. They have jogging pants 2 for $10. Jeans and Jeans jackets for $10 each and up. When you have children and grandchildren. You know that they’ll fit their clothing for a few months and bang they no longer fit. They are still growing and you can’t afford to spend $70 on one pair of jeans. Here you can take that same $70 dollars and buy quite a lot of clothes. Underclothes, socks and stockings. Night clothes as well. If you need a suit for any occasion they have them here for men. Dress shirts, ties and bow ties. Women clothing department at this site isn’t as large as the men. Their other location is much larger. However It’s still worth having a good look at what they do have. For my grandchildren it’s a great place to shop. Trust me you’re not leaving this place empty handed. It’s wheelchair accessible and they do sale a bit of snack food here. If your hungry Wendy is right next door. Plus Shop Rite is just across the street. They have and ATM machine available. They accept cash,credit and debit cards. You can no longer try on clothes at the store because of Covid-19. Affordable prices but the front register is horrible. My items were being scanned until an item did not have a price tag. The lady front register sent ME as the CUSTOMER to look for the price tag of the item instead of their Forman Mills associates. When I went to look for the item price turns out that specific item did not have the price tag at all. I came back to the register and the person who was attending me took their 15 minute break. I talked to the management person name Keishia (associate: 022400) who was next to the register and witnessed the event when the lady told me to look for the price and the lady left to take her break. Keishia refuse to attend me and procedded to attend other customers. She suggested me to be back at the long line and wait as other customers. This is inconvinient since it is not a customers fault for the item not having the price. Keishia did NOT wanted to attend me she stated "I cut the line" but HOW am I cutting the line if I came back to get attended since my items were already scanned. 20 minutes later until her boss came and saw me waiting at the register told Keishia to attend me. I was upset bc she refuse to attend me until her boss told her to. This was my first time at this Forman Mills and will suggest to please attend the customers who were there first and DO NOT lie about me cutting the line since my items were already scanned just needed...

I am a new employee of this store and i have to say that the boss and all the managers are so welcoming and they go the extra mile to help you get use to your job. Even if you make a mistake the managers are all thare to show you support. Now i started shopping thare before i got hired and had a amazing time looking through all the products and found that everything is at lower prince than most stores. But i have one thing to say it's a little too hot while shopping and i got a little light headed. Other than that i can't say enough good things about this store.
