I’ve always wanted to try that place until today! I was craving to eat some oxtails, and decided to try out Scotchies’ Jerk for the first time. With my excitement, I decided to drive to that business location only to find myself walking out in less than a minute of being there. I walked into the establishment to place an order. The place was empty with no customers. I noticed a lady behind the counter and I quickly greeted her by saying “hi”, the employee did not acknowledged me, rather stared at me rudely for a few seconds, as if we were having a staring contest. After a few seconds of us staring at each other, she walked towards the area that wasn’t shielded by the plexiglass and rudely said “can I help you?!” and I said, “yes. Do you guys have oxtails?” with her rudeness and poor customer service skills, she replied back to me by saying, “oxtails is $25” and turned her back and walked away from me, as if, she doesn’t have the time nor the patient to cater for a customer. At that very same moment, I decided to walk away. If you cannot fully perform an easy task such as good and excellent customer service to NEW paying customers, I don’t care if you have GradeA quality food, you will never earn my business. Dissatisfied, disappointed, disvalued, and discredited. Shame!
