Skip this place and go elsewhere… My family and I decided to try Baja’s today. We walked into the newly opened Seekonk location and found a newly remodeled and clean location, looks great. That was the end of the positives… To start with, the music blasting was with every other word being a four letter swear words… It was a very inappropriate music channel to stream loudly in an actual business open to the public. My 11 and 12-year-olds kept giving us looks about the music. Next, the employees were oblivious to this inappropriate music and were very unenthusiastic and unfriendly. That already got the visit off on the wrong foot. The icing on the cake was that the food quality was mediocre at best. We’ve had tastier food from the freezer isle. My kids ordered chicken fingers/fries and some mozzarella sticks and even they said it wasn’t good. The mozzarella sticks weren’t cooked all the way through (cold and hard in the middle). I ordered a Chimi, which was rolled together like a burrito and fried. The only problem is the frying didn’t crispen up the tortilla at all, so it ate like a microwave burrito (soggy). It was mostly rice and beans with very little chicken too. A traditional restaurant chimichanga is all meat with some cheese and very crispy. My wife’s tacos, per her review, were “meh”… Then the kicker was the cost… We spent close to $80 for fast food of so-so quality when we could have had authentic Mexican food at a real restaurant for about the same money, and with friendly table service... We already miss the previous restaurant at this location, and likely won’t try Baja’s again… Do yourself a favor, skip this place and go pretty much anywhere else, you’ll be happier. Oh and as far as helping the environment, paper straws are used, but with all-plastic cups and lids... Why not just give us...
Read moreYesterday, I went to Baja’s very excited to have lunch with my son, we ordered 3 steak tacos and a steak quesadilla, the food was delicious, the place is nice, unfortunately the manager (I know he is the manager because I asked what his position was) of the place is an uneducated man, I asked him several questions and he just laughed, I don’t know if he didn’t understand me or if I made him laugh, the young cashier was very attentive and started talking to us and he was very kind, he helped me serve my food, the manager threw the quesadilla on the board which was very disrespectful, I even asked the man if he was having a bad day and he just turned to look at the taco shells, the young man just turned around and said something to him in Spanish, the young man with teary eyes continued serving us and really despite the bad time he had he never stopped being kind and professional, it is unfortunate to see this type of scenario since nobody deserves bad treatment when they are doing a good job and the young man at the register is the one who interacts with us, very unpleasant moment, I feel sorry for the...

Baja's has been a gem in the mud for me, and of the ones I've tried this location is a clear best. They have wider options for entrees than you'd expect from a fast-casual burrito chain. From wings, to cheese steak, and more. Of course, the Mexican American cuisine is where they really shine. They have more novelty options than you'd find elsewhere like taco bowls, wet burritos, and chimichangas.
I recommend the super loaded burrito. For $14 you get to choose three protein options and the outcome is a burrito that can weigh more than 2 pounds (I've actually weighed). In this area, getting 2 pounds of food for only $14 is wild, and it's yummy at that. Their carnitas are to die for, and their other protein options are not far behind. They have multiple chicken options for those who don't have red meat, including buffalo, chipotle, or classic. They also have more unique options for fillings. Two types of queso, pickled red onion, jalapenos, habanero hot sauce, etc.
If nothing else, it's...
