Dunkin' — Restaurant in East Stroudsburg

Stopped here to surprise my better half with her favorite, Med. Iced Caramel decaf, cream no sugar.

Pulled into the drive-thru, I was the only person on line. I waited about 3-4 minutes, a bunch of high school kids making noise by the back door, so when I didn't get a response, I figured they couldn't hear me. So I parked on the side and walked inside.

I was greeted with a "I'll be right with you" as the counter woman counted out the cash in the drawer. REALLY! You couldn't take my order, then continue counting? I went back to my car retrieved my Dunkin card and went back in. I was once again greeted with a "I'll be right with you", as the drawer continued to be counted. I finally said, can the barista on drive thru ring up my order?

After a dazed look for a few seconds, she aske him to take my order which he was glad to do. I paid for the drink and while I waited, I couldn't help notice that another 5-10 high schoolers just hanging out in the dining area. Guess this is the local hot spot for hangouts! I noticed the barista using original coffee and not decaf. So I brought it to his attention and he made a brand new one and I was on my way......finally.

Thanks GOD the drink is so well loved by my wife. I have no idea the problem, but at 2:55PM on a Monday afternoon, with no customers, it really shouldn't take that long with this many problems.

I went there to get a cup of coffee and talk to someone from my masters program. The minute I get in there I see a group of 4-5 young men sitting in the corner being rowdy making noise and just generally being a pain. About 10 minutes in to our conversation I noticed that these teenage boys are throwing trash across the room causing it to slam into the side of tables and making a lot of noise nobody in the entire building that works there says anything to them and they're allowed to continue this. I realize that they are harassing a young man sitting on that side of the building where they had been throwing things. I previously been on unable to see him due to my sitting position they proceed to get up in his face and threatened to beat the crap out of him the employees still take no action. It isn't until myself and my friend spoke up about their actions that somebody in the establishment finally told the boys they needed to leave or they would call the police they proceeded to shout obscenities about how they were going to beat this other young man up and how they didn't care and they stormed out of the building. I left shortly thereafter but I certainly have no plans to return especially at night because if that's how people by themselves are treated but I certainly don't want to be in there by myself and be harassed verbally and physically and yet and have nobody come to my aid. I normally never make reviews but today was just unacceptable, I understand the employees struggle because I used to work at the Dunkin in Swiftwater. My issue was mainly at the treatment of customers by employees, I waited 20 minutes for one drink that I ordered 10 minutes ahead of time. I watched as 4 people ordered and got their drinks while mine states that it was ready but I never received it, when I asked one of the employees she addressed me with the worst level of attitude and disrespect. I asked nicely if I just missed it being called out because it said my drink was ready, especially since before I asked there was a rather rude customer who demanded their drink. She addressed me very rudely, then handed the drink to me in an equally rude manner- she honestly just wanted to get rid of me. I had a Boston kreme as well but I decided not to even ask for it since the employee clearly viewed me as annoying her despite only asking one question. I didn't even want it at that point because the experience was very daunting. I would've been fine with waiting a few minutes longer, the way she talked to me and addressed me was just cruel. I only come here because It's the closest one to my job, other than that I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here.
