MAHAKSHA INDIAN FLAVOR — Restaurant in East Whiteland Township

Went to get dinner here and got the chicken tikka masala, Channa masala, Veg Samosa, garlic naan and got Gulab Jamun as dessert. Everything looked great once we opened it and we were excited to try this place. Tried the Veg Samosa first which was really good, the sauces were great I was a big fan of green sauce (I don’t know what they’re called sorry) Next was the Chicken tikka and the Channa masala. The chicken was incredible and great flavor. Over rice and with the garlic naan was just great no problem with those dishes. The Channa masala was also just great the subtle spiciness at the end gave it a nice flair to it. Just a great dish no complaints at all again. The Gulab jamun was our dessert and that was delicious. Was my first time having it and it was really good, definitely couldn’t eat more of them they were filling but quite tasty. Definitely would go back and would recommend, owner or whoever was working that night was really making sure we got our food right on time and was very nice. Incredible...

We visited this place last Sunday for lunch. It was average but clean looking. We wanted to try the veg thali and biryani so we ordered veg thali and veg biryani thali. We took the paneer tikka kabab.. it was not actually kabab but it was dry paneer tikka. We got 6 pieces and it was really good. Coming to biryani thali, it came with paneer appetizer, matar paneer gravy, saalan, raitha and sweet along with biryani itself. Saalan was just okay and I really didn't like it and raita was very runny but all others were outstanding. The thaali knocked it out of the park, with same paneer appetizer, matar paneer and double ka meetha sweet, it also came with rice papad, sambar, rasam, dal, palya, curd and pickle. Ordered for a chicken Biriyani tray at noon for 9pm pickup Specially reminded that to ensure the availability and quality which they committed to Got call at 8:45 pm saying no more chicken Biriyani. As an alternative they provided mutton Biriyani and I agreed. Reached there , again more delays, understandable as its first day All okay until that point. Came home , served the Biriyani to Friends and family. It was just dry rice and mutton pieces and couldn’t be called as Biriyani. I believe they added the left over mutton pieces from curries to the chicken Biriyani rice that prepared for me. Ordered mutton pepper fry and sukka too which was good Could have rated better but false commitment, poor operation, quality of Biriyani (most important) got me here .
