Food flavors and portions good. Their spice levels are serious business, notch up to thai level if you can handle it . The southern green curry was spicy and delicious, different from other thai green curry flavor. The evil jungle princess was good but not the best i have had. Why i gave these stars? what i believe if a business has questionable ethical business practice i cannot not ignore it and feel too generous giving 2.5 stars. In this case, the bill had different prices than mentioned in the menu for most of the items. On mentioning while paying the bill, i pointed out and thr hostess had a casual comment, " oh yes these are old prices on the menu". For me it bait and switch practice, print your menu and let customers know before you charge them. Its almost an agreement of their offering. I guess they should get an experience from their supplier of grocery items and wonder how they would react. i am surprized that they had no comments while giving the menu or even the bill. this just made me question ethics in the kitchen.

Update to the Owner's comments:

My self-righteous remarks are because I am a paying customer, I write not to please you but my opinion for other active customers I gave you a chance to explain the differences and it was the hostess, I am assuming it was you that responded without trying to take effort to clarify to our satisfaction. I still payed the bill without any issues and I could have reversed my charge with the credit card company but I did not. My reviews are based of being a customer of restaurants and having my opinion way longer than you have been a restauranter.

Your ethics and ego may give you a different perception of your self-righteousness which are different from others seeing it. If you argue and justify with the detail the items of table F2, why could you not print and post the receipt copy with this response that customers could see had no explanation and a copy of the printed menu for customers to decide what one would read and make of it. Did your person taking the order explain? no. Did you take the effort to make sure that there was transparency in the receipt for the charges when you print it? Rather than introspect from an customers comments pm their experience. Your response tells a lot about your way to deal with customers, my way or the highway !

The visit to any restaurant is for an experience, and the fact that i walked in was I was looking for one. I don't even know you or you did not even talk to us in the restaurant, but my interaction towards the end and your response to this post tells me a lot. Everyone makes an impression based on what they experience.I do update my rating from 3 to 2 based on my new experience but being fair to the food.

I may have still planned to return later, but after reading your response, I can already sense the yell from your side " we don't want such customers". I atleast hope this changes on how other customers have an experience, because its all...

Indoor dining review

We heard about this new Thai restaurant opened for over a year, it used to be another Thai restaurant. We decided to give it a try, while the food is good (besides the minor issue), the service needs some work.

Restaurant: 4/5 Service: 1/5 Food: 4/5 Parking: Free parking lot

Restaurant The restaurant is nicely decorated, everything's clean. However it feels very open, there's no screens or dividers between any of the tables. When we visited, people were shouting to each other from one end of the restaurant to another.

Service The service was...not so good. We walked in 5 minutes before our reservation, the hostess had no idea we even had a reservation, but sat us down anyway. They cleaned our table just before we sat down, but never brought us any napkins or silverware. After we ordered our food and our appetizer arrived, we still didn't get our napkin or silverware. We had to get another waiter/waitress to bring us napkin and silverware, they did bring us silverware, but no napkin, we had to ask again for napkin. Our water was never refilled, there were almost no "Check-In on us". The owner seemed way more interested in chatting up a storm with their regulars than server customers.

Food Most of what we ordered was delicious apart from the minor issue with Appetizer. What we ordered: -Appetizer Platter (Very yummy, apart from the Golden Pocket, it is supposed to be Pitta bread stuff with Chicken, there was no Chicken to be found. We had to double check the menu to make sure it is correct. We decided not to say anything, considering the service provided or in this instance not provided) -Chicken Red Curry (Good, beware this is one of the spicier Curry compare to others) -Seafood Masaman Curry (Very good, this is the least Spicy curry for anyone that does not like Spicy food. Right after I started eating, one of the waiter brought out the scallop that they forgot to cook for this dish in a bowl. Cook in a rush? No idea)

In conclusion, I would come back just for takeout, and not dine-in. Since the food is quite good and they are in a...

Recommend: basil duck, tom kha with noodle, Good: red curry, wonton soup, curry puff, Thai tea, drunken noodles, mango sticky rice Ok: beef jerky, kal soi Meh: mille crepe cake

Updated to 4* from 3* I don't normally find places compelling enough to increase their reviews but tuk tuk definitely stepped up their game.

The red curry was way better than I remember, the one we got the second time around was the right consistency (first time was too watery) though I wish we had the option to order it spicier since it was 2/10 spicy at best. All of the veggies inside were cooked nicely as well.

Tom ka also had nice texture and we opted in for the rice noodles (similar to pho noodles) and the cook on the noodle was excellent.

Duck had lovely crispy skin and the fat was rendered nicely so the meat was tender and not greasy. Easily the star of the meal.

Mille crepe cake wasn't impressive, it tastes very much like a frozen and then thawed cake with not many layers and really watery filling.

Mango sticky rice was as expected.

Original review:

Nothing amazing but it was pretty decent. Nothing I would get again except the Thai tea but it didn't seem worth recommending, but it was good enough that I would come back and try something else

I have to mention that they were terribly understaffed so much so that I got flagged by other customers to take their order even though I was just going to use the rest room.

Curry puff casing was delicious and tender and flaky only to be let down by a dry and loose filling

Wonton soup had a lovely broth but the wontons were really dry inside and it would have been nice to have the onions cut a little smaller

Nothing was spicy and I think a few of the things we ordered were listed on the menu as medium spicy. Must ask for chopsticks.

Best part was honestly the...
