The Ivory Concept — Local services in East Whiteland Township

I don't even know where to start with how fabulous my experience trying on dresses and buying my dream gown at The Ivory Concept was! I live in NYC but TIC was the closest place that carried a designer and dress I saw online that I was dying to try on. I had gone to a reputable and well-known bridal salon in NYC the day before and I cannot stress enough how much better and more personal my experience at TIC was - like night and day. Ali and her mother Beth are so incredibly kind and really take the time to get to know what you're looking for and ask about the wedding, how you and your fiancé met, etc. Having the whole place to myself with my mother, future MIL and fiancé's aunt was also super special and we still talk about it months later!

When I tried on the dress that I thought would be "the one" and it wasn't quite right, Ali and Beth made amazing recommendations on dresses I wouldn't have considered otherwise. We still didn't have a clear winner about 5 minutes before my appointment was scheduled to end, but they pulled one last-minute dress that was actually two samples put together since they didn't have the exact sample of a dress offered by the same designer in store. Long story short, this dress was not even on my radar and it ended up being the one - it is perfect and I'm even more obsessed after coming back to pick it up this afternoon!

After a truly disappointing experience at a well known bridal store, walking into The Ivory Concept felt like a total breath of fresh air - and that feeling was entirely thanks to Mattie. I cannot say enough good things about this boutique and their incredible staff. The space itself is absolutely stunning: clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to make brides feel welcome and at ease.

Mattie was an absolute dream to work with. From the moment I arrived, her warmth, professionalism, and incredible knowledge instantly put me at ease. She listened attentively, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made the entire process feel seamless. The Ivory Concept has stellar communication. I was updated every step of the way, from finalizing the order to notifying me when my dress arrived. I traveled from New Jersey just to visit The Ivory Concept, and I would do it again in a heartbeat - it was more than worth it.

If I could give zero stars I would. Finding a wedding dress should be a happy experience as most girls look forward to it for their whole lives. However, you ruined the first experience my best friend would have as your consultant told her you do not carry dresses for ‘big girls like her’ when she is a normal sized woman. Your consultant continued to say this in several different ways throughout just the 15 minutes my friend managed to stay for her appointment. Even if she was morbidly obese I would hope your employees would be able to speak to her in a respectful and kind manner. If you only cater to skinny girls, then put it on your website or ask when someone makes their appointment what size dress they wear because you ruined my friends only bridal experience thus far. I get people shove body positivity down our throats today, but to say this to somebody who’s business you should want and WHO IS NORMAL SIZED is beyond disappointing and that person should be ashamed and educated on how they treat customs coming to them for the most important day...
