This opened the during a week we were traveling for work. It's across the street from our office and everyone was really excited for it. So excited that we went here twice. I'll start by saying what should be obvious: it's still very new so give them a chance to figure things out. I don't drink beer, but my husband seemed to think it was ok. He wasn't raving about it, but he seemed to enjoy it. One big miss on the beer front: they don't let you sample. I've never been to a brewery that doesn't let you sample and that's a bit of a turnoff. The food: you order at the bar which is a little awkward. It would be nice if they had a separate place to order food so you didn't have to fight with people getting drinks to order. Over the course of our two visits we tried: the pub fries, honey sriracha pierogis, spiked nachos, mac and cheese, a cheese quesadilla, pretzel bites, and loaded fries. For the most part, it was mediocre bar food. Some of it was not good at all (pretzel bites), but some of it was ok. My favorites were probably the pub fries and spiked nachos. There were mishaps with the food too. We ordered a steak quesadilla, but were given a cheese quesadilla (literally a tortilla with shredded cheese). There was also a lot of confusion/mix-ups with checks and trying to pay. The space is really nice, but it's designed to be loud. It was crowded the second time we were there and you could barely hear the person next to you. I'm excited for better weather because they have a great looking outdoor space. Overall, I think they have potential, but they definitely have some kinks to work out. I'm sure we'll be back for happy hours in the future due to the convenient location.

I Love trying new restaurants at the grove… It’s been quite an adventure… So today my friend and I tried the sly fox in Malvern… It was a bit of a disappointment. I didn’t know you had to order at the counter and then they bring the food to you and it’s pretty much self serving brew club… And that was OK. However, my southwestern salad was not only missing the black beans but also the salsa… So the chef just decided not to put it on and no one told me. It was as if they were trying to see if I was very alert or not to see that my stuff was missing… And I am always very observant. So they got the wrong person to try to pull the wool over my eyes… They did replace the beans with hummus and also brought me out the salsa and added some black olives… But really? Shouldn’t have somebody told me in the beginning… “,Oh, we are sorry ,but we are out of black beans… “And give me an alternative? I was offered another meal … ( after I realized it was also missing salsa) or another salad replacement… But it was too late. And the salad wasn’t that great after all… But I ate it. The best part was my cherry Coke… The bartender hit it straight on. I do like the ambience, and staff is pretty cheerful… I did try my friends Pizza and that had a nice flavor… Except the sauce is a little bitter for my taste… I like sauce a little sweeter . Would I give it another try? I don’t know…

I will probably come back and update my review over time and provide more pictures. Have been to this restaurant twice. Used to frequent the original (?) in Phoenixville years ago. This is a much improved restaurant. The location is great. They will have outdoor seating. The indoor seating even in the pandemic is spacious. The service is good and the wait staff seems fairly attentive. After only two visits, it is a stretch to say the quality of the food is consistent, but I enjoyed my selections each time. The pretzel bites are terrific. The fries are very good. The roast beef sandwich was very good. The chicken breast sandwich was a little dry but had good flavor. I signed up for the members card so it must have been pretty good!!

I'm not familiar with the other Sly Fox locations and I don't drink beer. My wife and I went to check out a new restaurant and hopefully eat good food.

There is no decor. It is just a large open space where you seat yourself. It would have been nice if they turned on the heat. Food is served on paper plates with plastic utensils. You have to go to the bar to order anything. We didn't see anybody walking around even asking if the food was good or if people needed anything.

35 dollars for tasteless cheesesteak, chicken wrap, and strange looking cheese curds in the form of round droplets. The curds were served with a side of very cold marinara sauce. Based on what I saw most of the people were there to drink flights of beer along with pizza or nachos. I guess if customers drink enough they don't realize they are getting ripped off for bland, overpriced food.

I'm sure this location will do well in the nicer weather if you just want to drink beer and hang out. They are located next to the sound stage and can open the garage doors to make the seating open air.

Go if you like Sly Fox beer. If you want to eat actual food you better visit another restaurant. PS: Stop blocking my...
