I used to really like Wegmans in Malvern but have noticed so many bad things lately I'm not going back here again. The shopping carts hit your car even though they have people gathering the carts. It happens so much I put a game camera to see who's doing it and I now know.People with handicap placards can push the cart all over the store and then put the stuff in their cars but don't have the energy to push the empty cart another 20 feet to put it away.I have many videos from my cam of this happening. The guys that retrieve the carts can hardly keep up and do a good job. I also notice a lot of safety issues su h as them leaving the signs that are portable right where people exit and somebody's going to get hit!.I've told them and showed them on numerous occasions and they still do it.The food is way overpriced and they can't even make a good tasting macaroni salad. The prepared foods are not even good or have any flavor I'm surprised these Mainline people can stomach the stuff. The Seafood is double or triple the price of every place in the area.I could go to 7 STARS and order the Sea Bass and get a whole meal for what I'd pay for a few filets!.I've also noticed a lot of new employees who look disheveled and look like there is something wrong with them or that they're on. drugs or something I don't know it's very strange. They also have a bad Habit of overcharging so look at your reicept I was charged about 19 dollars for a Shallot a small onion. The Pharmacy isn't great I've noticed them touching the medications with no gloves and touching the pills a major no no in this day in age!.So high end on the prices. Not to be mean but they all of a sudden have thug looking people working at this location with tattoos on their necks and ect.Ive watched this store go downhill fast. The beer and wine taking up the whole middle of the store is just plain silly and an obvious money grab. Why not offer samples of your expensive juices? and also all the CBD garbage for top dollar even more then the real thing at the The medical marijuana stores.I'm going to try one more store and if it's the same problems then I will be done for good. The King of Prussia store and the Collegeville stores are no better.I'm going to try Downingtown because they were the first and problem do better then these other stores.Im happy to hear Giant is investing 150 million into the stores they have because that was bad to.I notice when I go other places I have a lot more stuff for less money when I shop at other stores. For all the money they're making the place should be spotless and sazfe inside and out.Az shout out to the store security for busting the Prosecutor for simplifying on New Years!.I will be following that closely.Prelim in Paolo this week but great job guys.Maybe put the CBD stuff in a locked case. Why leave out items of such high price in a tiny box that people and children can get to.There is a lot they could do to improve but I don't see it.I guess they're getting to big for their britches!!.It's sad because they have. Great produce but I guess I'm going to try Whole Foods again. The place in Malvern is going downhill fast.Im kind of shocked by this. Do...
Read moreI 100% used to Love, and I mean Love, the Malvern Wegmans, I went there several times a a week at least (key term meaning went). Not only because of the food but also for the accommodation from the customer service that was provided, that part has fallen off majorly it seems, who knows maybe its only the one man that I had a horrible interaction with name SAEED I work a job that requires very late nights after even starting in the morning, which definitely isn’t at all ideal because it’s hard to get any errands I need to get done without completely running around the store a little before it’s closed but it’s ok because I love it, but I do know one thing for sure, I would have never EVER turned away a customer who came up to the register at the hour we close on the dot. However SAEED (somehow a manager of some sort at the Malvern Location) knew I ran to make it to the register by the time they were closed and I got there. Right at 12 to the second. I know they close at 12 but with my line of work it will not allow me to go just grocery shopping or run errands like most people, who’s is my problem, I know that but when I have customers that want to spend money at my store, and it makes them happy and it’s in my power like it was his. I would certainly have done it, it’s pure laziness and lack of caring about the customers experience. I don’t even write reviews, this is my 4th one overall in the entirety of my lifetime and two of we’re over the top positive and two were such a disgrace, for example tonight. I needed to seriously let whoever is in charge at this wegmans that if that’s what he does with any other customer in easy situations to make it right and make them happy and gain money for the store, I would want to know. I’m sure that you are losing customers left and right. Most disturbing part of it all was it was almost like he enjoyed the power of saying No to me even though it was a matter of about 2 seconds. Maybe I’ll find out when he doesn’t work there anymore and someday come back but I will never shop at a place with such disregard for even human decency. One last think is I even offered to pay cash because his “till was closed”, even though anyone who has worked that kind of job knows that you can easily sign Or log back in to make a sale, credit card or cash. But I offered cash because then if he was really going to keep the charade of not being able to ring me up tonight, they could have first thing in the morning. There were so many solutions and he just honestly loved having the power to say no. I’m sincerely glad there are so many other wegmans not to far because this was disgusting to me, this is for sure. Congratulations Saeed for being the reason for the second bad review that I have ever written in myLife, you actually probably...
Read moreI usually am a fan of Wegmans. I appreciate the late hours because I am a server at a restaurant, and I often don’t get out until 11 or later. My dog ran out of his food this morning, so I made a quick trip on my way home tonight. Manager Erin Verde at 50 Foundry Way was very disrespectful to me. I know it’s late and we all want to go home, but she did not make me feel like a paying customer. Instead, she was disrespectful and snarky. I did not even know she was a manager because of her poor communication and social skills tonight. She stared at me as I was walking to check out and said, “we close in less than one minute.” I said, “okay,” and she mimicked me in a disrespectful tone. I was very confused. I got to the checkout line and she said she would not ring me out because “the system has shut down.” I know this was something you say to get customers out of the building quickly, but I work in customer service too. I know you need to count your drawers at the end of the night and. I know the electricity doesn’t turn off when the clock strikes midnight. I explained if “the system shuts off,” why this wasn’t explained to me ahead of time and she was shut down and treated me like a disobeying preschooler. She also lied and said several announcements here made but I never heard anything like that just music. I get customer service. I get late hours. It’s exhausting. I’m the last person you want to see at 11:50pm. But when I leave my job and I come to your place of business, I am a paying customer. Tonight made me realize I will Instacart my late night last minute needs and shop at different stores in the future. I only go to Wegmans because it’s open late and on the way home from work. The way Erin made me feel tonight was bad and disrespected. I walked around the store for ten minutes leaving a starving dog at home and wasting my time being forced to hand over “the merchandise” as Erin worded it. They made me feel like a criminal ending g it with, “Kevin will escort you out of the building.” I’m not shopping at this expensive overpriced store again. I’d rather pay more at Whole Foods or toss my money to the hard working drivers and customer service workers I have met through Giants pick up service and Instacart. I’m not putting money into this business. I should feel good shopping here, whether it’s late or early in the morning. I will put my money to better use where I feel good and appreciated. I hope Erin gets better manager training for her future endeavors. Not her...
