I am unsure how this place achieved so many 5-Star reviews, particularly when there are so many awesome restaurants in the surrounding area. The food was disgusting. My girlfriend and I had very different meals, and we both, literally, feel physically ill right now - I’m nauseous. It was super greasy, and bland, and the coffee tasted old and burnt. I ordered a side of “brisket” which I expected to be like, well, brisket. You know, soft, fatty, maybe in some type of sauce. It was two slices of meat that were as dry and stiff as cardboard, and the two bites I took were probably a week’s worth of the recommended sodium intake. I took two small bites and didn’t touch the rest of it. There were two huge slabs on meat left untouched. We mentioned to the waitress that it was not what I was expecting and she just kind of shrugged it off. I am not suggesting it was her fault that the food was horrible, but good customer service would have been to take it off the check - it costs 6.75. When the check came, there it was. Anyhow, I didn’t make a fuss, we just will not be returning. If you’re considering this place for breakfast, it’s worth it to take the extra fifteen minutes and drive to Noho where there’s several incredible breakfast options to choose from. The food here...
Read moreMaybe we ordered the wrong things. I ordered the chicken and waffles (special). Waffle was soggy, chicken was just frozen chicken tenders. Partner got the brunch burger, the bun was soggy, meat was low quality, hash brown was not crispy, and the egg was fried hard. French fries were good. We also got the biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were too soft, they must have been microwaved frozen biscuits. The gravy was decent, not sure if its made in house but it was passable. It also took about 40 minutes to get our food. I understand Sunday mornings are busy, and I'm willing to wait for good food, but a long wait and mediocre-at-best food is a bad combination. Our coffee was empty for most of the wait. For $45 + tip I don't think it was worth it. I might come back to try another dish due to it being close to home, but overall there's much better places to get breakfast for...
Read moreToday we came back!!! I had the Bacon Benedict with a huge glass of refreshing cold water. My wife had coffee which she had several cups. She also had 2 eggs over hard and bacon with french toast. I was happy to be able to have my meal with gf bread. They gave the right amount of hollandaise. I chose the potato hash. Just know that if you have a sensitive belly due to gluten they do their best. but you always run the risk of cross contamination. I did NOT get ill and I am very very sensitive. I felt very welcomed and the waitstaff all are amazing and work very well to keep the place running smoothly. The kitchen staff has their end tight as a ship as I see a steady stream of wonderful food going out to the tables.... we will be back again everything was...
