Great bagels, but the service turnaround time has never been good. At Easthampton store this morning, I ordered six bagels from the baskets right in front of me and one cream cheese. Nothing fancy, just pull six bagels out of the baskets and one cream cheese out of the fridge and put it in a bag. Instead I waited fully 30 minutes and watched people come and go with their food. When I asked someone to check on my order they said, "oh it will be a few more minutes" and walked away. I finally literally had to BEG someone to put the six bagels in a bag with the cream cheese and give it to me. They were very apologetic and said that they were training people, but honestly I watched the person who rang my order stand idle (with her face ask below her nose behind an ironic notice of required face masks) at the cash register for much of the time with the coveted bagels sitting in the baskets behind her. I was always taught, if you have time to wait around, you have time to get busy & help out. I waited at the drive-through in the Hadley Tandem for the longest time for someone to come to the window. I finally had to call on my cell phone and tell them I was there. Never even an apology! Their bagels are good, but their service is severely lacking. Owners need to put a little more effort into training, and put some different method of getting the bagels into peoples hands in place. What they do now is clearly not working. They honestly should get rid of the chit method unless there is a cooked/prepared item involved. If people place a simple order of bagels and cc to go, the order should be filled at the register and then the people are out of the store and not crowding the small space...
Read moreFood and drinks are delicious. Ive tried most things off of the menu and I’ve always been satisfied. Negatives for me is that the prices are somewhat high for what you get and for the extremely slow service. No matter how busy or how slow the place is, be prepared to wait for your order. Even if you only order one thing, it’s always at least a 20 minute wait. Then you leave the place smelling like you worked an 8 hour shift in there because they never open any windows or doors to air the place out a bit. I would recommend ordering ahead and picking up. But.. do not show up early for your order. When you order on the website and it says 20-25 minute wait or a 30-35 minute wait, it will not be ready a minute earlier and sometimes it’s not even ready in the allotted time that they stated. I wish the business would incorporate sending out an automated text to tell you when your order is ready for pickup so that your not standing around in the pickup area wondering where your food is. I’m not sure why the service is so slow, but I think it may be a mixture of not enough staffing and the fact that the employees move as though they are in no rush whatsoever to...

Found this spot thanks to our awesome friends that brought us here all the way from NY. We heard so much about Tandem and just couldn't wait to try it.
These delicious bagels are made fresh every day. Make sure to get here early since they do sell out of the faves. As soon as I saw the French Toast bagel, I knew that's exactly what I wanted. Ordered this holy deliciousness with honey walnut cream cheese. Perfect compliment combo. We also ordered an everything bagel with olive cream cheese spread and another one with the jalapeño spread (errr mehhh gerrrddd, loved the spicy goodness).
Coffee bar is presh. You can pick and choose or mix and match out of all the wide selection of self serve freshly brewed coffee they have.
Of course, they have plenty of drink options besides coffee and many loaded bagels. Breakfast sandwiches and sandwiches are available as well as smoothies and tea. Can't wait to try other yummy things next time we're back in town! Always remember to eat a well ROUNDED...
