Panda Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Eastpointe

At first when I moved to the area a little over a year ago, I ordered from this place because it was closed to my house and the first order was good. Food was on point, my husband and kids liked it. When we ordered the 2nd and 3rd time the food was poor quality. 2nd time I thought that maybe because it was a little late the food was preheated or whatever. But then the 3rd time which was a few months back I was more than disappointed with the food. And on top of it they always mess up the orders. So when we call back all they do is argue, and argue with a clients in a extremely disrespectful way almost yelling at you like if you were their kid. So fine, I stopped ordering from there for more than 6 months. So 2 weeks ago I decides lets give them a try because not many things are opened by where I live around the time I usually get out so we ordered again and the order was messed up, the owner or whoever he is the older guy disrespected my husband when he went to pick it up and sometthing that was only 20 something dollars the guy messed it up and was charging us 40 dollars for what exactly I dont know. My husband calls me upset and all I could hear was the guy yelling at my husband saying YOU DUMB YOU NO KNOW HOW ORDER so I told him to put him on the phone I was the one who ordered chicken fried rice and lomein SIMPLE and he said well i put this and that in the order is not my problem i need you to take food away he said to me. We started arguing, bottom line is that he ended up giving us what i originally ordered. But not before he disrespected me and my husband. Fine!!! So today my mom wanted asian food so i called and ordered chicken fried rice, SHRIMP and Vegetables lo mein. Guess what we got? Fried rice plain fried rice and chicken lo mein o vegetables whatsoever. The girl i talked to not only heard me correctly but i asked her to repeat the order to make sure they had it correctly, she did but still got something else and was charged for the shrimp lo mein the vegetable one and chicken fried rice!!! Called back and what i get instead? Attitude. And the food was beyond nasty. NEVER AGAIN. Dont waste your time and money on people like this that dont know how to treat...

Good food for reasonable prices. Random bad clientele that come in and cause problems either with ordering everything special or questioning every item makes it hard to want to visit often.

Family owned and operated by a very good family that will make your food great if you give them a chance and not harass them.

Family bought orange chicken and my order after about 8 bites...STRAIGHT IN THE TRASH!!!

Don't know what happened to the quality here, but this will be my last visit here.

Within the past year the long time, local standard Chinese food place Happy Garden across Gratiot closed. Apparently that meant quality here has become a low priority!!!

Worst experience I have ever had with this location. Orange chicken was not the typical large chunk chicken it used to be. Replaced with smaller pieces and terrible quality!!! Out ofnthe 8 bites, 5 went into a napkin before I choked on the stringy blobs of who knows what...It was terrible!!!

Steamed white rice was salty and not the quality it was in the past.

I have no idea if management changed or just quality due to the rude clientelle that was slowly overtaking this location...I won't be back if quality is not a priority!!!

I can just go to the ORIGINAL company for Orange Chicken (look it up) PANDA EXPRESS!!! No change in quality there and no abusive customers to scream and yell at other patrons...

This is the worst Chinese place I've ever been to. I decided to try Panda because it's in our area. I ordered Chinese Fried Shrimp and Sweet & Sour Shrimp Combination and what I got was batter really no shrimp. One dinner had the shrimp with the tails and was more batter then shrimp when I asked for a light batter. The other Shrimp dinner was mostly batter as well, but they at least took the tails off that one. The rice was horrible, greasy loaded with onions and the chicken was gummy. The egg rolls were awful as well, we couldn't eat them. They were filled with cabbage that smelled spoiled nothing else was in them. The person that waited on me was rude, lazy and never bothered to say Thank You. This was my second time going to this place and I will never return. Too many other Chinese restaurants that value their customers and the food is 200% better. I've only given them 1 Star because I couldn't post my comment without selecting at least one star. They actually don't deserve the one star if I could've given 0 stars...
