Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Eastpointe

Ordered food online Sat July 25 2020 and when I arrived to the store, I was denied my food, but my credit card was charged. Reason given: manager walked off duty even though there were still employees on duty (internal problem, not a customer problem). Refund was promised, but has not been processed yet!

Now, I do understand the quarantine changes things, but the customer service at this location has drastically decreased since my first visit one- 1 year ago. To make matters worse, I tried calling today about my refund update, and they are having phone troubles. Dear owner, please help.

Very unhappy with this location currently, because I still want my refund, since food and service was not provided at no fault of mine!!!!!!!!!😳

UPDATE (07-26-2020): Shout out to manager 'Keon' who heard of my concern and tried to ensure I maintain a relationship with the company and tried to care of me today! i am still unhappy about how this was handled originally, but 'Keon' has restored my choice to give it a second chance with this location! Tropical smoothie Cafe is a wonderful restaurant they have awesome and friendly service they are always quick to lend a hand. They have excellent locations and all of their dishes are very good unhealthy as well. They have wonderful food dishes that are made with fruit and they have excellent meat dishes as well. The yogurts and smoothies are a must try. They always use the freshest fruit and their meat is fresh too. They always have young beautiful girls employed that are kind and nice to look at when they're smiling. One time there was a mix-up with the fruit that I ordered in my smoothie and they gave me no hassle about remaking it and giving me the correct smoothie unlike many other restaurants that have so you when there's some kind of a mistake with your meal. When it comes to the opinion of sight quote tropical smoothie is a A1 five-star restaurant. If I were you the next time I was driving by one I would try something from the restaurant. The only reason why they recieved the one star from me is because it wasn't an option to give them zero stars. I waited in line for a bbq shrimp quesadilla for 30 minutes nearly. The shrimp was already dead and caught so I figured it wouldn't take that long for a simple quesadilla.. just add cheese and a tortilla . No. The staff was clearly overwhelmed, the manager gave zero cares about the inconveniences of taking my money and taking my entire lunch hour for something that takes 5 minutes if that to prepare. because I'm a patient person I didn't make a big deal about it however completely unprofessional. Doordash and grubhub customers are obviously more important than the customer that is standing in front of them. I even expressed in a calm manner that this was and inconvenience and no remorse explanation or an apology. I don't expect any thing free just decent an in order. I highly suggest a different location this was the worst experience EVER at a tropical...
