I booked the their small room to hold a Baby Shower for my Daughter. We planned with the manager to serve Sandwiches and Salad. He explained that they make the food fresh when we get there. We had a final headcount of 28 people. We placed our order with the wait staff for 40 half wrapped sandwhiches, 20 chicken 20 beef and 1 large salad. We explained to our guests that they were responsible for anything else they ordered. So the shower got underway and it took forever to get ice waters and pop. The food started coming in on trays and placed on our food table. People began getting their sandwiches and salads. The Shower was a success the guests went home and the nightmare started. Our bill should have been $129 but I was handed a bill for $259. BIG DIFFERENCE. The waitress put the order in wrong. Now we are very good customers of this restaurant. Every birthday for our family and sometimes just because we order combo trays that are $130 each time. Some of the staff know my daughter from picking up our carryouts, explain to me why it was their mistake but we were to pay for it. We had boxed up the leftovers and the manager said to us pay $159 and leave the leftovers. Also someone had ordered Hummus $8.99. Ok so after quite a long dispute we paid and left. Then the calls from my guests started coming in. They waited because they didn't want to make a fuse and ruin my daughter's shower. DIRTY GLASSES AND SILVERWARE. HAD TO BE TOLD OVER AND OVER FOR WATER AND ICE. NOT EVERY TABLE GOT POP. SANDWHICHES NOT FULL OF MEAT. SALAD DRENCHED IN DRESSING. WAITRESS HAD A BAD ATTITUDE AND THE GUEST THAT ORDERED THE HUMMUS HAD PAID THE WAITRESS $10 TO COVER THE HUMMUS THAT WE WERE CHARGED FOR AGAIN. WE CALLED THE MANAGER BACK AND HE DID NOTHING. THEY TOOK WHAT WAS ONE OF THE MOST UMPORTANT DAYS OF MY DAUGHTERS LIFE AND PUT A BLACK CLOUD OVER IT. EVEN AFTER MY GUESTS CALLED AND COMPLAINED THEY NEVER REACHED OUT TO US TO...

I ordered a delivery from Shish Kabob and waited over an hour and a half for my delivery with NO initial contact from the restaurant. Initially I figured they were just running behind, but the app claimed that my order had been delivered, which it had not. This is where I grew concerned. I call the restaurant only to be dismissed and told that the driver was on his way. About 20 more minutes go by and still no food. The app still claims my food and already been delivered. I call a second time and speak to another employee. They inform me that all of the orders had already been sent out and put me on hold in hopes of finding my order. I decided to go to the store to demand a refund so I hung up the call which truthfully was a mistake on my end. I then see the employee had attempted to call me back, so I returned the call only to speak to the employee I had spoken to originally. I informed him I was on my way to the store to demand a refund, and he then tells me that I cannot receive one from them. I needed to contact the app which was EatStreets. Then he claimed the driver was currently at my door with my food. The only issue was I opted for a contactless delivery so it felt as though the employee was trying to brush me off yet again. There would be no reason the driver should be standing at my door. They were instructed to drop off the food. I completely understand the restaurant being behind with orders, hey, that happens! My problem was the lack of communication coupled with being dismissed by the employee when the app claimed my food had been delivered and it was nowhere in sight. I'll be honest, I've eaten here before as a take-out with ZERO issues( hence the two stars), but they have lost...

When I lived over this way this was my main Mediterranean place to go and when I say main Mediterranean you have to understand I grew up in Detroit right next to Dearborn and had lots of high school friends who were all Dearborn residence and Mediterranean food eaters every single day the restaurants best features to me or best foods are the bread that they cook in the oven right there at the front door you can see the coal-fired or whatever gas-fired oven cooking the bread right the front door you can get it piping hot right out of the oven a lot of times and also not many places do you have to in chicken form and they season it nicely there's usually a beef Lamke often it's really tough but this one is nice and tender is a little juicy got nice seasoning garlic spread is absolutely a one on what it should be wonderful and on this a lot of different sizes the garlic sauce actually really large downs were really small and then the lemon drink the lemon juice they do over ice like a slushy and you can see them squeeze the lemons and it's real slushy and icy but it will melt into just juice and it's nice and target a good flavor I love those things together, probably had other stuff but that's my main goal to this having chicken pasta and garlic sauce and bread and lemon juice so great place they been pretty cool they're trying to make it through with carryout right now but when you can and sit out in restaurants nice place to be built pretty much try to accommodate you own the lamb chili's...

Solid food BUT. I placed an online order, went to pick it up. The second I walked in, the "hostess" or whatever her job is, looked me up and down. Didn't say hello, judged me, and continued getting yelled at by her boss. I got home, didn't receive the rice pudding I ordered. I called and she answered saying "we don't have rice pudding." With major attitude. Uhhhhh okay then take it off your menu and don't charge me for it. It's on my receipt. They offered to bring me baklava which is nice but I could have done without the attitude. Update- an hour later with no baklava. $8 down the drain. Wish I hadn't tipped. Update #2- we called to ask if this was being delivered and they said another hour. APPARENTLY, I was supposed to pick out a baklava at the restaurant during my pick up. NO ONE told me this. They should have called me after I placed my order to tell me there wasn't rice pudding. When I got to the restaurant they should have told me there wasn't rice pudding and told me to pick out baklava. They're claiming they're extremely busy, when I went there, I was the only one there. I just think it's ridiculous that they expected me to know there wasn't rice pudding and I was supposed to pick out baklava at the register. Soooo incredibly stupid. Mind you, we spent almost $60 which is why this is so upsetting.

Cafe style restaurant. They used to be full service with wait staff and such prior to the pandemic. But when it hit, all service ppl quit and never came back. That being said, it doesn't take away from how the food is prepared and taste! Lots of garlic that's for sure and yum yum yum. I really like garlic. Anyhow, first time coming here with a friend. She recommended the shawarma sandwich and drink combo. Good decision. Plus we ordered sides, lentil soup; and something that has a lot of parsley, garlic and a touch of tomatoes that came with bread and sauce (actually some type of airy rolls... don't know what they are called). We chose the garlic sauce. OMG was that delightfully flavorful! No pics of food. Sorry. My camera at the time wasn't working so my friend just took pics of the outdoors for me. I would come back when in the mood for Mediterranean food for sure!

They do a good job here. With so many Middle Eastern restaurants throughout metro Detroit, it can be hard to choose. Not long ago, there was only a handful from which to choose. Now there are dozens. Today I grabbed a carry-out as I was running errands in the area. In 10 minutes it was ready. The portions are plentiful, I can almost get two meals out of an entree - 4 months and 32 lbs ago, I would've eaten all of it. Today, I have dinner and tomorrow's lunch. The dinner salad is super fresh with great quality ingredients, and a zesty dressing. The baba ghanoush is tangy, the chicken schwarma flavorful, tender and little fat. Nice thick lentil soup.
