I placed an online order so I could pick it up when I got off work. Ordered 2 subs. I walk in and there’s 4 people in line. I head to the express pick up section by the register and wait. The workers started staring at me like I’m insane and asked if I want to order. I said that I was picking one up. They had zero idea that they had any online/mobile orders. They look and there’s 2 other orders besides mine that they didn’t know they had. They finish three customers and then make mine. I’m still waiting patiently. They make the first one to completion and then decided to tell me they were out of the meatballs for the 2nd one. I called my partner and told him, he only eats the meatball sub and didn’t want anything other that. I asked for a refund instead and they wouldn’t do it because it was online. They need to update their online menu if they’re out of products so that I’m not put in this predicament, and I told them that. It’s been about 5 mins after my sandwich was made and she then decides to ask if I want to wait for them to make the meatballs. Why wasn’t that an option in the first place? Now I gotta wait 10 mins for meatballs while my sandwich gets cold because you guys can’t keep up with your cooking and can’t properly communicate with your customers. I’m not normally one to leave a bad review, as I manage a much busier restaurant and understand what it’s like to be behind or in the weeds. But Jesus Christ it’s not that hard to communicate with customers and have a basic understanding of what you’re doing. Y’all need new employees. Lemme know if y’all hiring cuz I’ll turn that restaurant...
Read moreMy husband and I went to this location. While in there the woman cut the bread adding the meat never changed her gloves in-between customers. When we went down by the veggies the lettuce was brown and the tomatoes were mushing looking. The man at the register was wearing a pair of gloves handling money, making subs, grabbing cookies, touching the microwave, and filling soup bowls, while wearing the same gloves. When I asked him if this was a health code violation he said yes so sorry. After handling our money he left his gloves on and continued making another sandwich. How gross!!!!! I ended up throwing my food out. Not to forget we ordered soup he got it out of the warmer and had to heat it up in the microwave. What's the chances that some crazy bacteria wasn't in my soup. Hey this is the way it's done East pointe Michigan!!!! Dine or get it Sub way fresh at this location!!!!!!! As a bonus they will serve you with the remnants of the previous sandwich!!!! Hope you don't have a...
Read moreI have had great experiences at this location in the past, however today I was highly disappointed with the service. There were about three young women working today and not one of them had on a hat or hair net. I watched them come directly from the back of the restaurant and begin to make subs without washing their hands. The young woman who made my sandwich barely spoke up and had terrible customer service skills. She also made my sandwich right after I saw her drinking a drink without a lid on it and then just put gloves on without washing her hands. Not to mention the veggies bar was gross and I could hear an employee in the back screaming to the front asking if dishes were clean. Completly unprofessional....
