Papa Romano's Pizza & Mr. Pita — Restaurant in Eastpointe

I hate to leave this review but this location continues to disappoint. I miss having a real Mr Pita in Eastpointe. Ever since they merged with Papa Romano's, Mr Pita has become an afterthought and it's really showed. This location also has a hard time opening on time... not sure what thats about. Lately its been better, so hopefully its under better management. Most recently, around lunch time, I ordered a greek pita and once I got home I was surprised and disappointed with the quality of the sandwich. First of all it was pretty much a bread sandwich, there was nothing on it. Quite literally NOTHING. Looking at the Mr Pita website, it shows that the Greek Pita should have: Ham, Salami, Swiss, Feta, Onions, Black Olives, Pepper Rings, Lettuces, Tomatoes and Greek Dressing. My sandwich had the following: Pita bread, thin piece of ham, lettuce and and greek dressing. If you don't want to make or sell Pitas, I'm not sure why they're on your menu. I say this because 1 I REALLY like Mr Pita, I've been going forever. And 2 I'm really just getting sick of the lack of good customer service at retail stores and restaurants. I've visited your location several times where employees seem more interested in their phone, rather than looking up and saying hello. Its nice to be acknowledged when walking into a business. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Beyond mad at whoever is running this location. Placed a $50.00 order online and a family member went to pick it up only to be told by the one man working there that there wasn’t an order under my name. He ended up finding it on the printer so they had to wait even longer. I received a small square with no flavored crust when it clearly states round. The dough was thin and raw, the cheese wasn’t cooked through. The lettuce in the salad was brown and the breadsticks and other pizza were poorly cooked as well. I called back today, August 19th 2025 at 6:59 pm and told whoever answered the phone that my order was wrong and the only thing he said was what do you want, I said I wanted credit because I wasn’t coming back over there and he hung up on me. I called back and he didn’t answer. I’ll be heading over there tomorrow to talk to someone face to face because how dare you treat a customer like that. I was reprimanded at this location by the workers. This is the 9 mile and Gratiot location

I placed my order online at 7:37. It said it would be done anywhere between now and 30 minutes. I showed up at 8:07. The tall guy working was nice The other guy proceeds to tell me they now close at 8:00. I say "okay". That is not good enough for him. He then says "I will give it (my order that I already paid for online)to you this time but once we lock the doors we can't open them."

I said "wait a minute. Maybe you should change the time online because I have not been to this location in over 10 years." He says "you mean the door does not say 8:00?" I say "I do not know. I am saying I ordered online and it says you close at 8:30.(Once I got home the website says 9 and Google says 830.).

The bread was burnt. My pizza only had all the items on one side. The other side only had pepperoni.(I took a pic)
