Bob Evans — Restaurant in Eaton

They will bring you things you didn't order and charge you for it. The manager was extremely rude about taking it off our bill. If a cup of gravy comes with the meal they will bring you a bowl then charge you for it and have the audacity to ask you if you ate it. The manager knew exactly how much I ate because he cleared the dishes from our table and had to tell the waitress 3 times we were ready for our check.

A MANAGER SHOULD NEVER BE RUDE TO CUSTOMERS NO MATTER HOW BIG OR SMALL THE COMPLAINT IS. IT'S THE PRINCIPLE THAT I DIDN'T ORDER IT NOT THAT IT WAS $1.50 MORE.

He probably did more harm because they had a big line of customers trying to get seated and another big line trying to pay to leave. Now we know why the parking lot is empty most of the time. Their biggest competitor was closed today.

We visited again today. They had 6 tables of people in the entire place on a Sunday morning and the food was cold. So disappointed. At least the rude manager was not there.

6/6/23 They can't serve us because they have a table of 20. It's Tuesday morning at 9:30a. What do you mean you can't serve more than 20 people at a time. The dining room holds more than 20 people.

6/7/23 We tried again today because we just really love Bob Evans. The food was hot!! Woohoo! The poor waitress just really needs help. It's really hot and miss at this location.

7/16/23 Everything was great. Erin was great too. She was the only server and we didn't wait for anything.

7/31/23 This place is just ridiculous. 5 tables in the entire restaurant. Today the breakfast meat was wrong on 1 plate. The bacon on the other plate tasted old and funny. We didn't get the breakfast meat until the rest of our breakfast was gone and we were waiting on a check. They didn't do anything to make it right. We keep trying but it's time to just give up on this place.

8/8/23 The table is soaking wet. Only one other table with customers in the entire restaurant. Dirty dishes on several tables. The waitress didn't write our order down. It's definitely not looking too...

I always get my usual blueberry farmer breakfast, but right now they have strawberries for the pancakes so I decided to give it a try. I decided to get the blueberry banana farmer and add the strawberry toppings. I was a little disappointed because the strawberries came as a jam with small small pieces of strawberries instead of how the picture shows on the menu (also pictured in this review). It seemed like the presentation of the food was not ideal or anything like the picture & the banana had some bad spots on it too so I didn’t eat those. I also got served 1 egg instead of the 2 it’s supposed to come with & my bacon was way too over cooked. My boyfriend got the hog heaven (per usual) and his sausage patties and home fries were WAY TOO overcooked.. I could taste the burnt. At this point I just wanted my 2nd egg and forget about the rest & after pointing the egg out to the server, she had another egg in front of me within seconds and apologized multiple times and made sure we were good multiple times after I got my second egg. Amazing service, not so pleased with the food.

When the server asked for my egg and I could tell (& somewhat hear!!) the cook was giving sass back about my 1 egg that was missing… like the cook didn’t believe the server… although my plate wasn’t even touched & my eggs were over easy so they would’ve been runny and yolky if I had ate one without them knowing…. I don’t remember the servers name but she was excellent & I wish I could get her every time.

I gave 3 stars because the cook was also jamming out to loud pop music in the back (I guess it was better than the nothing that was playing in the restaurant - if there was something, I couldn’t hear it over the cooks music) & me and my bf got to jam out to Halsey & Post Malone at 9:30am on a Thursday… may have been a little odd for the rest of the restaurant, considering it was pretty busy and we could still hear her music 1/2 way across the restaurant.. maybe that’s why my a good portion of our food was burnt and I only got 1 of...

We (my 2 year old daughter, her mother, and myself) went to Eaton place and realized it was packed. We traveled to Bob Evens to avoid the wait, and was greeted with nothing but a horrible visit. The 1st mistake was me ordering a chocolate milk, and the server not acknowledging my order until she received affirmation of permission from my childs mother. Hello! I'm a grown a** adult and if I order a chocolate milk give me a chocolate milk. The 2nd mistake was the wait and how are meal unfolded and not unfolding. My daughters food after 45 min arrives at that time our server had no explanation for the delay. The restaurant was nearly empty. My 1st thought is "great our daughter is going to be done before we get our food, and is going to start acting up". 5 min after my daughter received her food her mother suggested we leave. I agreed, the experience was already less than a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10. My childs mother decided to tell the server at the register (which I didn't find necessary due to the fact that the restaurant was again nearly empty of other customers, and after the comment we made to our server about how long it was taking, and that our daughter was going to start acting out for sitting too long). The person at the counter said they would comp the meal (we wasn't going to pay for it anyways) and that they would bag and box it to go. Bob Evan's by this point wasted too much of my time so we didn't take the meals to go. I'm 100% happy that we chose to leave instead of taking the food, I'm positive that would have lead to more...
