They built this new DQ shortly after I moved out of the area, but I have family so I visit every now and then. When it first opened, I tried it a few times, and while the service was rather quick despite the massive lines, it was not quality. Regularly, my blizzards would only be half mixed, leaving the bottom nothing but vanilla ice cream. After this happened on a pretty consistent basis, I stopped going. So many, many months later I decided I'd go back and try again while visiting. I was pleasantly surprised to see my Blizzard was finally mixed thoroughly, however I had ordered a medium Royal Ultimate Choco Brownie, and not only did they not put the fudge in it (thanks for charging me for it though), they also left me without any of the choco chunks (I'm a bit of a UCB loyalist), and hardly any brownie. Not to mention I also received a small. My girlfriend ordered a small chocolate cone, dipped in cherry, and requested a cup to go with it. What she got, was a cup of vanilla ice cream, drizzled in cherry.. with no cone. I hadn't noticed either until we drove off (with the 30 minute wait, we were ready to rush off before the window even closed), and of course since they have the dining room closed, it's not like you can go in and complain, and forget sitting in that ridiculous line again just to do so. I get that it's difficult to get help these days, and I'm fine with things taking longer to get made, but it doesn't justify constantly screwing up. I'd imagine management doesn't care, because again, who's going to wait in that line again on a low dollar screw-up. Also, that extension of the parking lot makes absolutely no sense, it didn't help the drive through traffic at all, and the spots by the building are...
Read moreI placed a mobile order through the app, when I got there the food was already made and sitting up at the warmer, the ice cream I got was also sitting up at the counter waiting to go into the freezer till I got there. The person working the cash register took care of the customers in front of me. After that she continued to ignore me, she would look at me then go do something else. There was another employee that would grab the blizzards and take them to the customer flipped upside down. I told the employee that was working the register that I had a mobile order and told her my name. She told another employee that the 2 blizzards that were in his hands were ours on the mobile order. He put the 2 blizzards in a drink carrier and put them back into the small freezer that's located to the left of the counter. Once we got our food we stood there for almost 2 minutes then we got our blizzards. Seems like some of the employees need some more training or retrained to...
Read moreOrdered 3 burgers, two chicken sandwiches, chicken strips, and 4 blizzards. The whipped cream fell off of one blizzard when the manager flipped it. Took it all home to my kids, and two burgers were not in the bag. Called and spoke with the manager, went back to get the missing items. When I got there, the manager looked me in the eye and called me a liar, that she personally put the burgers in the bag, but since I drove 25 minutes each way, she did replace the two that were not in the original bag. After the fiasco, I looked again at the receipt, and my order was not even rung up right in the first place. I tried to explain, but the manager was not hearing anything once she decided that I was a liar. None of the sandwiches were made correctly, either. With management having that kind of attitude, the customer service world is bleak. Will not go to this...
