This is the best sushi/sashimi place I have been to in a long time. I can’t believe it’s been here in this area for 1 years and before that in Holmdel. I like my sashimi fresh, well chef Mike out did himself serving most artistically foodie’s obsession visually and taste/texture. I told chef Mike that I have been dreaming of his sashimi/sushi that I went to eat all by my self today. Mind you I never ever go out to eat on my own, always with friends and family. You can get highly end foodie’s taste/quality right here in Eatontown!!! Unbelievable. Their high end sashimi may be comparable with some NYC places but you don’t need to travel so far. They get their fresh fish Monday weds and Fridays they close on Sundays! You’ll love their food. The space is on the smaller side, however if you been to Japan, this is how most sushi place look like, minimum decoration with a sushi bar. If you want a fancy and big restaurant, this isn’t it. Why one care for space if the food is 5 full star. If you have a large group, better call...
Read moreI recently visited FUMIYAMA Sushi and had an amazing time. The atmosphere was lovely, creating a perfect ambiance for a delightful meal. The crew was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Not only did they provide exceptional service, but their prices were also surprisingly affordable.
I had the pleasure of trying the Philadelphia Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll, and Anger Roll, and let me tell you, they were all absolutely delicious! The combination of flavors and freshness of the ingredients truly impressed me. Each bite was a delightful experience, leaving me wanting more.
FUMIYAMA Sushi is definitely a place I would highly recommend to anyone who appreciates great sushi. The lovely atmosphere, super nice crew, and affordable prices make it a perfect choice for a satisfying meal. I can't wait to go back and explore more of their menu. Kudos to the talented chefs and staff at...
Read moreBest quick and easy sushi around, for sure. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of fish. Clear mushroom soup and the scallion pancakes are the best I’ve ever had. Toro scallion roll is my go-to but I like to try their creations. Recently had the Mike Roll which was very good. Sometimes scallops can be fishy, not these. I love that they use less rice than other places and really prioritize the fish. I have tried every take out sushi in the area and dine at omakase in NY often and this is the best around here if it’s caliber. The sushi chef is very experienced and I’ve heard great things about their omakase but haven’t had a chance to try myself yet. Will update when I do! also great if you have kids because they offer hibachi style and teriyaki entrees alongside...
