White Castle — Restaurant in Eatontown

Horrible service!!!! I was just at this location. I ordered a #1 with a small milk shake. They guy tells me they only have a medium milkshake I questioned this and he says come to the window for the explanation. I get to the window and a middle aged lady approaches the window to tell me they only have a medium because they're about to close. I said but I want a small.... did you run out of of small cups? She said no this is just what we have. I said well you cant charge me for a medium when I ordered a small, pour some out if you need to . She said what if someone else wants a medium? I shrugged and said I ordered a small milkshake.... she walked away shaking her head and told the cashier to take the milkshake off my order. The cashier asked if I wanted a small soft drink instead.... I chuckled in disbelief.... then the lady yells to him from the grill and says just give it to her and charge her for a small. He proceeds to hand me all my food and she tells out "are you happy now!!??" ....... Wow!! This is what I get when I crave.... nothing like the commercials. I will be calling this location tomorrow to complain. Completely disrespectful. Btw, online says the store closes at 12am and this...

I've been going to White Castle for over 30 years and the number 1 has always been a hamburger meal. Since last month, they changed number 1 to cheeseburgers with no meal number for plain burgers. I wound up with 2 number 1s for myself and my daughter but we ate none of the burgers because we don't like cheese. My son had ordered cheeseburgers and was happy with his but that left us with 8 cheeseburgers for him for later or the trash if he doesn't. The chicken rings have also been changed recently and aren't very good. The fries were decent, so my daughter and I filled up on fries. Between the bad chicken rings, being duped into ordering food we didn't want, the bad service and burnt fried food I've gotten from here recently, it's not worth taking my family here anymore.

Update - the owner got in touch with me. She was very nice and offered me a refund and free food coupons. I declined because I feel that I shouldn't have to complain to get good service or unburnt food or the correct food. I still won't...

Been coming to this White Castle since the early 1990's. Back then a little old lady worked there like 7 days a week and was spot on with the burgers. Anyone remember her?. I am sure she has long since passed on. At some point in the early 2000's they completely demolished the building and moved it ever so slightly and rebuilt it. Not sure why. I heard it was built overtop of the cemetery behind it and as a result is haunted. I have no opinion on that. As far as today, the food is great. But the guy who is always working the drive thru is not friendly and is very stingy with condiments. You could get like 30 burgers, ask for ketchup and he will give you 3 packets. Had to subtract for that. But he is always on point with the order. You could get like 20 of 10 different things and he'd nail the count....
