Eatontown location has been very disappointing. It has been a month and a half that I have been calling to get help on a reselection of a mattress that I have gotten from them. I have called the workers there about 7 times. I was told multiple times I could get a reselection from the mattress I was not happy with. I am over 5 months pregnant and I should not be dealing with the stress of employees being so rude and misinforming me on product information.On one phone call I was told to walk across the mattress with my knees by an employee Craig who was relocated stores and never called me back when he said he would. Another call I was told that the manager Jen said to come in and do a reselection knowing my issue that I was not informed it was an Ashley’s matress and they do not do reselections. I went to the store today and Jen gave me a number for escalations and said there was nothing she could do. The man who sold me the matress is no longer there, shocker. I called the store again, was told employee’s name was Rosanne, talked over me with the most rude tone and hung up on me. Sweetheart if you aren’t happy with speaking to customers you are in the wrong field. How unprofessional of an employee to hang up on a paying customer. The miscommunication and willing to figure something out with a costumer is so poorly managed at this location. This store needs to take accountability for misinforming me about my products reselection and do somthing about it. What a disappointment from...

I have dealt with a local value city in Lakewood and the staff there is very nice and helpful, however, their service department is AWFUL. I bought a set of dressers and they were made so poorly and the drawers were breaking. I bumped into one with a laundry basket and the trim cracked. They finally after several weeks send replacement drawers- one is damaged. One is the wrong color and I’m missing one. Only one of the 3 sent was correct. I finally have to go into the store to get some assistance on getting a replacement to the replacement and the store was very, very helpful. So I send the email. I finally get a response from service and I send the chain of emails back to service and I tell them a drawer that wasn’t damaged is now damaged. The trim is just falling off of the drawer. At this point I want a credit to get something nicer. Someone calls and speaks to my husband and tries to say you’re over stuffing the drawers you shouldn’t have even received replacement drawers. A technician is supposed to come out. Now I’m going to fight with them over the crap that was made because you suddenly don’t want to send drawers after you sent me the wrong ones, you want a technician to come out and do what? Ridiculous. I feel bad for the sales people because they are very nice, but some of their products are made horribly and their customer service is the absolute worst. This company should be ashamed...

I spent 6 months looking for a good mattress, I wanted it to be firm and when I arrived at Value City in Eatontown NJ, the saleswoman, who was the mattress specialist, referred me to the Tempur Pedic Firm, promised me a lot of things, 90 days of satisfaction guaranteed or my money back plus 10 years factory warranty etc!! I bought the bed base, plus the mattress protection!! At 60 days I started to feel a lot of back pain, I woke up at night and I was sunk in the mattress!! I went to the store about 5 times to try to return the mattress and they told me to call the factory, I called the factory and the factory told me to resolve it with Value City!! about a month with this problem!! until the last time I went to Value City, the manager told me that he didn't accept returns and that he only accepted exchanges for the same value!! and that I will have to pay all the extra fees for it!! he treated me with a lot of disrespect, all the employees there started lying around him, telling me that they had not promised any guarantee and that was my experience with this store!! $4000 for a product that made my back hurt, (Tempur Pedic), but this is another Review!!! stay away from this store!! buy online or from companies that respect customers!!!! minus 10 stars...
