Since I passed this area quite a lot, I decided to stop by for lunch since the previous location was a quickchek. Entering, the store is very clean and neat! One side for Spanish/Hispanic snacks, drinks, frozen foods etc. On the other side is the hot foods, coffee, and pastry/cake stations. The ladies there were nice and greeted me as I went in and gave nice suggestions on food and answered questions I had. I ordered the following - the Chicken Marsala with yellow rice. (2nd picture) Very tasty! The amount given was hefty- I could split it into at least 2 portions! -Flan cake (1st picture) very nice big piece and was creamy and nice and sweet -Fried ham and cheese empanada pocket (3rd picture) Did not feel greasy at all and nice and crispy outside - Flan sample (4th picture) The lady at the counter gave me a sample while I waited for my food! For the price i think it was worth it as all the food I ordered + a jello packet was around $24 (a bit more if using card). I'll definitely be coming back again to try other foods there!

I can’t say enough about this market! I Love the Brazilian food here and Love the people who serve it! Such a well cared for business, so much attention to detail, and so much quality! They are very kind and it goes into their food. The owner even tried to make the environment autistic friendly by blocking the sound of the road when building and having peaceful lighting. I also love that there is plenty of parking compared to Long Branch spots. If you like baked goods try some here. Little food pockets like empanadas called pastels or coxinhas are really worth discovering if you haven’t had them before. They can have beef and chicken or sausage in them. This spot serves a diverse clientele so everyone is welcome! Check it out and enjoy!!! ♥️

The Brazilian food here is really delicious. Everything is freshly made here, the bread, pizza, desserts, hot foods, empanadas and mor. They have a mini mart section carrying Brazilian foods and essentials. There is also the normal sodas, drinks, candy's you find at like a quick check and such The food platter is also great, massive portions for their small platter, which definitely is like two meals. (I got the black beans and pork, a fried yucca/arrow root flour for the beans (was recommended to eat with the beans) yellow rice, collards, beef and onions. The staff is so friendly as well. Highly recommend!

Place is great. Id give it a 5, but this place is just getting off the ground and has a few kinks to work out before becoming a 5. This is a Brazilian food market. You can purchase food related items here and order hot trays. They also have a mini buffet made fresh daily.

I ordered a few items from this place such as the chicken and beef short rib combo with fries, rice and beans. Needless to say, they were excellent! Sorta like the Portuguese combos youll find else where, but way better. The food is simply better seasoned and way better quality. Has a home made type feel to it. The combos are $20. Little more expensive, but highly worth the price considering the amount what your getting.

The bad (sorta): they dont seem to have what your looking for when you want to order it. Was even told that id have some times order a full chicken dinner a day in advanced! how would i know i would be in the mood chicken the following day? Made to order food is to be made right when i order, no? I wanted a half chicken and pork rib combo, but was told that they had no half chicken orders, only chicken legs, thighs. The pork ribs were going to be ready after 2 hours once you placed your initial order. So we settled for the legs, thighs and beef short ribs. To be frank, i am glad i did settle, the beef short ribs were spectacular! Chicken was still great and they accommodated the price difference! Perhaps some of the food issues were due to freshness? Not to cook so much food for fears the food wouldnt sale and have to be thrown out? After all, this place just opened up a few months ago and still might need more patrons.

With that said, this place is a hidden gem and has lots a potential once they work out some if their kinks. Definitely...
