Shake Shack Eatontown Mall — Restaurant in Eatontown

I swear the price they charge for their menu items someone definitely DROPPED BALL . ASKED FOR SINGLE CHEESE BURGER WITH BACON N PICKLE ONLY. .INSTEAD I GOT FULLY LOADED LETT, TOM which I can't eat, N SAUCE WHICH I HATE SMEARED ALL OVER N THE. BURGER WAS BARELY ON BUN N LOOKED LIKE WAS IN 3 PIECES BECAUSE SOMEONE MUTILATED IT ON GRILL OM TOP OF THAT MY WIFE GOT A Double asked for SAME WAY N WASNT PROPERLY PREPARED.gotta take paper towel n wipe off sauce remove tomatoes . On top asked for 3 sides of cheese sauce n 1 side of shake sauce. I checked bag I should of checked burgers because was missing a. Cheese n shack sauce . .listen if you want to be out done by McDonalds your on your way . .we paid 35$ for 2 burger n 2 fries ,2small drinks n only thing right was fries because I went for DrPepper n it was all ciLear water so had to dump n choose something else. I HAVE BEEN TO REST STOP STORE IN WALL WITH ONE PERSON WORKING REGISTER N BAGGING N Never HAD ISSUE .I looked behind where shakes are made n there were physically empty cups all over . It honestly looked like no one manages the store or trains people $35 wasted dollars for a stomach ache ,anger,and shame because live so far away that take me 20 mm in to be drive back THANKS FOR ONE OF THE POOREST EXPERIENCES I EXPECT SERVICE AT THAT MUCH MONEY TO BE TOP NOTCH .BOTTOM OF THE PITS. . This restaurant's food was good, but the service is not that obvious or helpful. If you haven't been there before it's not known that you order at the counter then sit down and they bring the food. There is no regular table service. They also have electronic kiosk ordering which is great once you get it, but I walked in and the people that worked there just stared at me trying to figure it out. Nobody said a word of welcome or gave a hint of what to do to order. I wasn't the only one confused. Other people on line were asking each other questions, but the counter person just watched and didn't say a word. When you finally order they shove an empty cup and number at you. Then you have to get your own drink, napkins, condiments and find your own table. When your food is ready someone marches around the restaurant with your food looking for the number they gave you. The place is big so it can be a long trip that you watch them because you don't know who's food they have. If they said a number you could wave them over, but they don't say a word... Just march. The whole system is annoying, but could be fine if the staff just helped. The burger was really good, but if you did have a problem you would have to go back up to the counter and wait on line again to get service. It's like stopping at a rest stop or a place at an...

A completely frustrating experience. I ordered at the kisok and sat down. It was late at night but somewhat busy for the time, so I expected to wait a little bit for my food. After about 15 minutes go by, I noticed that people who came in after me already had their food. I went to the counter and it took a few minutes to be acknowledged, and when they asked for the name on the order, they told me they gave my order to someone else. I had to wait ANOTHER 15 minutes for my food to be prepared. And the bacon cheese fries I ordered lacked bacon, so I brought it to their attention and they told me they ran out of bacon. Seeing as how I paid extra for the bacon, I asked if they could refund the difference or just give me a full refund on the fries. This seemed to cause a look of panic and/or confusion on the worker and another worker managed to scrounge up some bacon for me (it looked like she took it off a burger that was waiting in the window, so undoubtedly someone else ended up unhappy with their order).

I grew up in the restaurant business and I like to think that I am very patient and forgiving with mistakes and sub-par service (the restaurant biz is a rough one), but I'm going to heavily NOT recommend this location. When I eventually received my food it was tasty, but it was not worth the...
