AMAZING food! We ordered a little bit of everything- poutine, cheese curds (our fav!), burgers, fries, mashed potatoes, wings, fried fish and the chicken ranch fries. I have not had legit fried chicken tasting chicken in 10 years and (while they were wings), that almost brought tears to my eyes. The flavor was spot on (crunchy and salty). The fried fish was not spicy, the chicken on the ranch fries and poutine was not spicy, the fries were, but they were delish. Didn't order the chicken tenders because of the previous reviews that said it was super spicy. This was our first time ordering at a place we've never been to and not having anyone there to talk to (and a little weird that the only time you see someone is when they bring your food up), but most of the businesses in the food court operate the same way. Food was very underwhelming looking when we got it, but it was worth every penny. I LOVE being able to eat somewhere GF and pick off my family's plates AND share with them. GREAT JOB and THANK YOU for offering all the options you have AND for making it taste fantastic. For half an hour I got to walk down memory lane and enjoy food I haven't since going GF.

Today is my birthday, all I wanted was good food!!! I have celiac disease and can not eat gluten, which makes it extremely hard to find comfort food. I drove to Minneapolis, uptown and lake street looking for something to eat. Then finally found "where's the flour" in north town mall!!! It was worth the day of driving, my heart cried with joy when I knew I could eat all my favorites without the pain and brain fog gluten brings. I am so thank for this place and highly recommend them, as well as all the other restaurants at North town mall. If you haven't been to the food court in a while, do yourself a huge favor and go. They redid the food court and it's full independent owned restaurants, even though I can't eat everything looks amazing. Thank you to the owner, he came out and told me he does what he does so people like me can still enjoy good food. I'm so thankful for him!

Wow! Kudos to Northtown for bringing in this delicious, inclusive vendor! My best friend and I visited from out of town and weren’t disappointed! We both have gluten allergies. I got a chicken sandwich with cheese curds -omgggg the curds were amazing! She had poutine. She loved it! Our favorite was the house sauce, the “WTF sauce.” Eating in this “ghost kitchen” food court was a new experience for us. There’s no staff behind the counters, they’re all located in the kitchens. You order your food on a computer screen and you enter your phone number. You’ll get a text when your food is ready and it’s waiting for you at the counter. It only took about 5 minutes, but my friend and I explored the mall for a few minutes while we waited for our food. Overall, delicious, positive experience. Will definitely tell others about this place and come back to try it again!

Very tasty gluten free comfort food. Poutine, chicken fingers, mashed potatoes and gravy. Poutine is very well put together. The cheese curds are squeaky and perfect. The gravy is on the salty side but very tasty with a good gravy consistency. The mashed potatoes remind me of Boston Market, which is good. The breading on the chicken tenders is really well done and spiced well.

Unfortunately since this is a takeout-only place out of a multi unit takeout place, the fries and chicken lose a bit of their crispiness while sitting in the box. This is helped along by the plastic bag they put the food in which has a few holes but not enough to help moisture escape.

Pricing is a little high for this kind of takeout food but it’s gluten free so the premium makes sense. If you just want to get full for not too much money, the popcorn chicken bowl is a decent value: cut up chicken tenders with mashed potatoes, gravy, and a little bit of corn.

The place you go to pick up your food is a new experience. Wait until you get the text (or get it while you’re driving there) and then enter the building and pick up your bag of food from the assigned small door the text tells you.

The area it’s in is not the kind of place I want to visit though. There are homeless people loitering around. A guy without a shirt was laying half on the sidewalk, half on the street, yelling at nothing in particular. That may be less under this kitchen’s control but I would hope they lobby the building they rent from to fix the giant, unavoidable pothole in their parking lot.

They seem to rotate their menu a bit over the months they’ve been open, so I look forward to what else the...

🌟🏆Exceeding Expectations: Where's The Flour Review

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Where's The Flour (in the beautifulfood court), and I must say, it was an experience that surpassed all expectations. From the moment I walked up, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire visit.

Let's start with the food – exquisite doesn't even begin to describe it. Each dish was a masterpiece, meticulously prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. Whether it was the savory appetizers, the mouthwatering main courses, or the decadent desserts, every bite was a delight to the senses. The chef's dedication to quality and creativity truly shines through in every dish.

But what truly sets Where's The Flour apart is their exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. From their attentive service to their genuine passion for hospitality, they made me feel like a valued guest from start to finish. It's evident that the team at Where's The Flour takes great pride in what they do, and it reflects in the impeccable service they provide.

Overall, my experience at Where's The Flour was nothing short of extraordinary. Update: After writing my initial review below, Jason Hofman immediately contacted me to try to resolve my issue (a month and a half later). Assured me that I would get a refund. A week later, I had to send another email, reminding him that I had not received my refund. He FINALLY issued me a refund! Sadly, he then apologized and tried to blame the driver for my bad experience. My bad experience was caused by lack of response from the store after they discovered there was an issue, not the fact that something was missing from the order in the first place. I'm glad I finally got my money back, but I wish companies valued customer service these days...

Original Review: Ordered delivery from them online on 8/31/23. Did not receive half of my food, and of course it was the kids food, which was extremely inconvenient. I tried to call and let them know that we were missing items and their phone did not work. Tried to get DoorDash to help out even though the order was placed directly with Where's the Flour, but since it was delivered through DoorDash. They were not able to reach the restaurant either. They sent an email to the restaurant to try and help me out. On 9/2, I received an email from Jason Hofman, asking what items were missing so they could send me a credit. I responded and that was the last I ever heard from them. Tried to reach out many times, but no response and no refund. Will NEVER eat there again. They...
