I tried them for the first time a couple of days ago. Atmosphere was similar to previous establishment with the addition of some nice music being played outside. I ordered the Patty Melt and fries. The food came out quickly. The waitress was attentive and pleasant. Unfortunately the patty was soo small that I had alot of bread flopping on both sides of the patty. Very strange so I decided to pull up the bread to see what was going on underneath. What I found was about a 3" wide patty, so as it is cut in half, only about 1.5" of patty on each side, with at least 2" of hollow bread on each side. I didn't detect much cheeze nor did the patty have much taste. It also had very little grilled onions, which are the heart of a patty melt. The fries were great. I love patty melts, but this one was disappointing. I left not feeling the love of the patty ! Update: A friend of mine recemtly came into town and we went here for burger and brew night. We sat outside and there was a guy playing some nice music. The burgers were cooked as ordered, and were tasty, and service was excellent. We had a nice time there. Now if we can get Trudy to smile more, I would give...
Read moreI would give zero stars but it’s not an option. This place does not deserve any stars! We went in the restaurant when we arrived and ask if we could seat ourselves outside, yes. The waitress came out eventually and took our drink order, Kayla. I ordered a bucket, 4 Coors Lights and one Bud Light for my husband. He also asked for water. Kayla came outside twice after delivering our drinks, and didn’t even make eye contact and didn’t bring the water. We waited for 20 minutes to give her another chance and she literally never came back. If you ignored us over the Bud Light, guess what, we’re Ronald Reagan loving conservatives and that’s the only beer that doesn’t give my husband a headache. I’m so happy that we never got the chance to order food because the menu really sucks and it’s over priced. Hope you go out of business like the disgusting place that owned...
Read moreThis review was from when the place was called TNT, Trudys Neighborhood Tavern. Mom and I went there today for a late lunch/early dinner. The grilled mahi sandwich on brioche bun was excellent (see my photos). It was a large piece of fish, cooked to perfection on a toasted brioche bun with lettuce tomato and onion, tarter or mayo came on the side. The fries are some of the best we have ever had, they were thick and chunky! Mom had the French dip and she loved it. It was so big she was only able to eat a third of it. We ate outside, there were a few smokers so we sat with the wind at our back. Service was great, we were waited on almost instantly, food was prepared quickly, and the portions were big. We will tell our friend and neighbors to...
