Peggy's Country Kitchen — Restaurant in Edgewater

Worst expierence ever servers were more worried about eating there own food in front of customers rather than helping them and getting someone seated the food was not up to par from what it used to be I ordered a breakfast burrito and it came out half the size as normal it was literally 4 bites and it was done I asked about it and got a attitude and was told that's how it always is after taking a bite I realize the cooks didn't even put eggs in the burrito which is a pretty important part of a BREAKFAST burrito and they just brushed it off like they don't care about there food quality or customer service very very disappointed in the way this place has gone down hill I used to order breakfast every weekend now I don't even wanna give them the chance to mess up my food and overcharge me for 4 bite burritos that aren't even made properly

I've been going to Peggy's for a very long time. I'm a chef and have vast experience with breakfast. We got there and I guess our waitress was to busy talking so a waitress named Alice decided to take our order. By the way she did a good job. After a 15 minute wait she brought out our toast and said I'll bring out your food when the potatoes on your order are done..well after about 8 min( and everyone knows 8 min in a restaurant is forever) our food came.. asked for well done hashbrowns(raw) sausage tasted like greese .and oh yeah the toast was cold. Peggy's food was always good . I wish she didn't sell it..and as I was leaving Alice asked how everything was and I told her. She wanted to try and make things right. I got the breakfast burrito. I asked the waitress if they heated up the salsa and was told yes did not come with hash browns so I added an order of hash browns. Burrito look like it was cooked by a second grader tortilla was all broken up. Hash browns look like they just got poured out of a bag from Winn-Dixie and half cooked and salsa came out ice cold probably right out of the cooler. Waitress act as if I was bothering her when I asked her cuz she heat it up some. I was only in town to make a delivery in which I got early to and just wanted to have a good meal while I waited once I got to my delivery and told him where I had breakfast they said how'd you like that told him my concerns and they said that was most people's reactions since the new owners took over.
