The quality of this location has been steadily declining over the past year or two. Every time I've gone in the last year something was either wrong with my order and/or service was very slow, but my last visit was the final straw for me. I have told multiple people not to go here now, including someone who is nearby frequently and has been considering going.
During my most recent visit, I had placed an order through the app in advance. When I arrived it wasn't ready despite the app saying it was ready for pick up. This happens, i get it. But then I proceeded to wait for no shorter than 45 minutes in the store for my food, which is absolutely inexcusable.
I was asked multiple times if I'd been helped by multiple employees and I explained the situation but no one ever came back with an update or appeared to do anything about it. They didn't appear to be short staffed either, and plenty of orders were going out the drive thru.
Finally, I saw what seemed to be my order being prepared but it was taken to the drive thru window instead of the front of store where I was. I heard the employee at the drive thru read my name and say that wasn't the order they needed, but no one brought it to me. I approached the counter to get someone's attention, but the employees seemed to be actively avoiding making eye contact with me at this point. I had to loudly ask for my food. Someone brought it to me and I asked to speak to a manager. The manager didn't even wait to hear what I had to say and immediately dismissed my concerns saying she couldn't do anything about it.
I'm not unreasonable. I know working in fast food and service industry in general is harder than people give it credit it for, and I know most employees are treated poorly and paid even worse. I used to work at a taco bell myself, so I'm even familiar with this aspect. I try to give workers as much leniency as I can. I am now actively telling people not to go to this location.
To be made worse, a complaint was filed on the taco bell app and there was no follow...
Read moreI honestly don't know what to say about this restaurant. The last time I went here, IIRC, they shut down drive-thru so I had to go inside to pick up my order.
When I got inside, I could see there were only two employees back there. I cut them some slack because I know what it's like to try to run a whole store with only two people. The delivery orders were wrong, the people waiting were getting upset, and the poor employees were running ragged. I felt so bad for them.
Tonight (10/17/24), my partner really wanted Taco Bell. I ordered from here, like I normally do, via the Taco Bell app at 7:45ish. It took them 2 hours from start to delivery, and when it arrived, it was wrong and cold. Missing items and the Mexican pizza tastes...weird, sour, and bitter. Either they used old/expired ingredients or someone added something to it. I'm going to err on the side of old/expired ingredients.
Until corporate decides to pay these people what they are worth, I will not recommend this place! You have to compensate them, financially and critically, so that they have a sense of pride in their job and their work! If you keep paying them shit, they are going to "act their wage," and you'll have no one to blame but your own capitalistic corporate greed!
I expect a call from the Regional Manager to discuss my experience. I've already put my review across as many platforms...
Read moreThe food is good but they need to get their act together.
Earlier this year, they introduced some new menu items. When they put them up on the large menu above the back counter, they removed the part of the menu showing the five or so types of burritos they offer. I waited a couple months for them to get it straightened out. I finally told a manager about it. He understood the mistake clearly. He said it would be fixed right away. But it took them another two months to fix it.
Last time I was there, I tried to order a burrito supreme. The man behind the counter told me there is no such thing. After I ordered something else, I saw on the menu in combo # 1 a Burrito Supreme.
It is still not listed in the part of their overhead menu that lists the burritos they sell.
But lest you have any doubts, it is listed as a feature item on their websites under burritos.
It is one of the signature items that made them famous.
I love their food and I intend to keep going.
But they need to make their in-store menu consistent with their actual menu, and the people at the register need to know what they...
