The first time I came I got a banana split in a cup and I got vanilla ice cream, bananas obviously, strawberries, pineapples, and hot fudge. It was absolutely delicious and the price was beautiful! I also got two pup cups! Definitely wanted to come back! The second time I came I ordered the same thing except for the pup cups. However my banana split came with one of the white plastic spoonfuls of Smucker's pineapples, but the pineapples were only placed on top of the whipped cream. I had about 3/4 of a diced up strawberry and some hot fudge drizzled around the walls of the cup. The price was different the second time as well. The first time I paid about $7 for the banana split and $2 for each of the pup cups and I left a tip and the total of everything was $14. This time my total came to 10 something but the banana split was completely different and I didn't get the pup cups. Also, it rang up as $6.77 and I had to do a second transaction for $3 and some change. I'm not sure why because the first time the quality was top tier and less expensive and this time the quality was definitely not top tier and much more expensive. It tasted good but definitely not what I was expecting. The girl working there was absolutely delightful and I am not complaining about her in any way! She was very kind and very sweet and she was just doing her job. However I do think that there should be uniform recipes for things and uniform prices. I was disappointed this time around and I'm not sure if I will want to come back because I don't want to risk paying $10 for a subpar banana split. Especially when it was much better the first time around and the price wasn't as bad. Again, the girl working this evening was absolutely awesome and I wish nothing but the best for her and her future. She was such a sweet girl and I don't believe she was doing anything intentionally wrong. I think they have really good ice cream and everyone I've encountered there is very sweet, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed this time. I was also confused as to why the price ring up to $6.77 and I then had to do a separate transaction and pay more money than I did the first time. If this sounds confusing, I agree because I'm confused as well. Anyway I hope this helps and if you go I'm sure you will enjoy your experience as well as your sweets! Hopefully the kinks can...
Read moreThese people are unbelievable. Especially the husband. I live in their neighborhood but decided to stop in for some ice cream. The husband is an absolute tyrant, both in store and in the neighborhood. The way he speaks to women is terrible. Here's some news: can you believe he left his dogs home alone for 3 days while they were moving. Mind you, one of the dogs is too big for it's cage. Poor thing couldnt turn around if it needed. Plus they left their little hamsters or what ever they were IN BULK TRASH for pick up! Disgusting. I'm glad animal control were called. Wish the husband would have been at least find or sent tor jail. He'll do it again in no-time. I'll never give them my business again. I'd rather give my money to non misogynist / animal...

Treated myself today to an ice cream cone at Smith’s Homemade in the plaza by The Porch on the corner of Orange and Gatlin! Although $7.19 was a bit pricey for one scoop, it was delicious! They also have homemade fudge and gift containers of fudge and cookies. I’m going to definitely keep them in mind for the holidays!
…… …….. ……. ……. …….. ………. ………. ……… People, we are in trouble! They just opened their doors last night unannounced. It is located in the Gatlin Shopping center between the Porch and just next to Brazas Chicken. They don’t even have their sign up yet. We had some ice cream and took a chunk of fudge home. It is melt in your...
