Food is good. Been to several times. However I went there this past Sunday with my family for dinner. Mildy busy for a Sunday. It was a holiday weekend. I ordered beef tacos. I got chicken tacos. Ok. No big deal. But after we were served our food, NOBODY came by to check on us. You know - the standard check in..."How is everything? Is there anything else I can get you? Would you like another drink?" Nada. My son wanted a taco. I had to get up an find someone! Then took my young son to the restroom. We do our thing. Get the sink - NO SOAP! Hand Sanitizer was also EMPTY! What??? We could only rinse our hands. Gross. Coming back to my table - again - I had to snag someone and let them know..."Hi - there's no soap in the men's room and the hand sanitizer bottle is so low, nothing comes up." They said ok. Went back to the men's room a bit later - Still no soap! Really?? But making us wear the masks - that was more important I guess. My son wasn't feeling well. So we finished up and wanted to get him home. Again - NO WAITER, nothing. Finally - my head is on a swivel at this point. I'm looking around for help, my hands up in the air. A staff person THEN comes over and asks if everything is ok. No - I just need the check please. Jeez! Even that took several minutes. C'mon! I really want to like the place. But the service was AWFUL this past Sunday. They can do so much better. So...

Third time!!!
My family and I recently dined at Rey Azteca Mexican Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and fantastic staff. We opted to sit outside on their spacious patio, which was beautifully set up with nice tables, chairs, and umbrellas, perfect for enjoying the gorgeous weather.
We started with chips and salsa, and were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. The fresh guacamole, served in an authentic molcajete, was a standout. Our entrees included Barilla tacos, a pork burrito, fish tacos, and shrimp quesadillas - all of which were absolutely amazing. The salsa and guacamole were incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor.
The patio’s LED “flame” lights added a charming ambiance, making the evening even more enjoyable. The fresh chips were a delightful touch, perfectly complementing the overall experience.
Rey Azteca has quickly become our go-to spot for the best Mexican food in the area....
Read moreWe really enjoyed our visit to Rey Azteca. The food was great, and the service from our server Enrique was on point. If you've ever been to Rey Azteca in Warminster or Plaza Azteca in Plymouth Meeting, the food quality, decor, price range, and huge menu are all similar here.
We were immediately asked to order drinks (no liquor license yet), and we were brought warm chips and fresh salsa. We enjoyed the chicken and cheese nachos as an appetizer, and they were fairly priced at $6. The chicken was tasty and seasoned well. If nachos are your jam, they do have larger nacho dishes (supreme and fajita, maybe others), but this appetizer size was perfect to still enjoy a meal.
We had the supreme burrito with steak and shrimp tacos. Everything was cooked perfectly, brought out hot, and good to generous portion sizes with large sides of refried beans and rice. Total bill with soda was $35, which felt like a good value. We'll look forward to returning, glad to finally have decent (Americanized) Mexican...
