Burger King — Restaurant in Edinburg

First off all staff at this location have attitude ! I’ve never experienced this type of behavior from employees yet alone management! I went originally to order the Halloween buckets which my daughter has been excited about I even asked a few questions that staff had no knowledge of ! When I got to the window to pay the young lady that took my order didn’t acknowledge me just took my payment and walked ! So then another young lady which now I know her name (destiny ) begins to bring me my daughters food she drops the Halloween buckets on the floor then tries to hand it to me when I asked her for a new one she looks at me and rolls her eyes I can see her name tag but couldn’t read her name when she walked to get another one she sets my food and bucket down on the counter walks to the back and comes back hand me the food and removes her name tag ! I asked her for her name and she ignores me walks away and shouts the window ! I had to glad down the original girl that took my order ! I then asked her to get the manager on shift ! She calls the manager and I start to explain to her as well what just happened and she said oh I’m sorry and not much else I asked her why the employee felt the need to remove her name tag and she said oh well it’s because she’s underage I told her that doesn’t matter at the end of the day she’s an employee and shouldn’t treat customers that way ! She begins to have an attitude so I ask for a corporate number said she didn’t have one and that I could do a survey on the back of the receipt! So I asked her for the main managers name she gives it to me with attitude and shuts the window on me I then flag down the original girl and told her to call back the manager I wasn’t done talking to her ! The assistant manager ( Jocelyn) comes back and said oh I thought you were done talking I said I wasn’t asked her when the manager would be in and she brings to say like I said angels here in the mornings I then at this point had enough from the staff so I drove off ! This BK is in an older building which used to be a travel stop with a convenience store on one side, shared bathrooms in the middle atrium, and the BK on the other side. Now the convenience store has been replaced by an insurance agency. To get into the BK, you enter the middle atrium where you see the restroom doors, and then go through the glass door on the right.

Every time I have come here, it is mostly empty. The place really needs updating. There was even a gaping hole in the ceiling into the attic with old duct work drooping; it looks like there was probably a leak in the roof that caused the damage.

Aside from that, the food is as good as any other BK. They make it your way. I always get take out, but I did see three people dining in.

The employees are all young except for one. Most seem competent, but none were particularly friendly or engaging. They were, however, efficient, and our food was prepared as ordered and handed to me hot and fresh.

I got the TX Whopper. It is listed as a double patty, but I always ask for the single patty. The bacon, cheese, jalapeños and mustard set this burger apart from the other Whoppers. It's BK's way of competing with the other TX based, orange and white colored burger joint.

I was curious about the Impossible Burger. Apparently it is a vegetarian burger. Not for me. Thanks. If I'm going to skip meat, I'll just eat regular vegetables, not processed veggie patties wearing "meat-face."

This location seems to have issues with understanding how to use their DoorDash application. We placed orders a good 45 minutes before their stop taking orders only to wait 30 minutes to be told the order was canceled because their having issues with the DoorDash computer. I understand things go wrong sometimes but the way they handled the problem was beyond rude and unfair. It was late and we lost the opportunity to order from many others places we could have ordered from is BK didn’t wait to the last minute to tell us our order won’t be made. I know it’s fast food, but employees at this places have become so incompetent that they really should not be trusted around food. I would not eat here, inside is also dirty and the kitchen isn’t...
