I've been to this Jack in the Box location many times and have yet to leave a review... Here goes...
I am often welcomed by the staff as I enter. My experience with the employees is that they are friendly and efficient. Even when I am ordering several meals for take out, the order has always been accurate as ordered, even when requesting special requests like leaving off the mustard (we have a family member allergic to the turmeric in yellow mustard).
The quality of the food ordered has consistently been very good, served hot and fresh.
Prices nowadays seem a bit high, but they are competitive with others in the fast food industry.
The dining room here has always been clean, and, for some reason, mostly empty. The drive through gets a lot more business. There is a nice ambience uncluttered by loud music or TVs blaring. Sometimes I see college students hanging out to study here rather than at the popular and criwded coffee shop.
Though Jack In The Box is known for burgers, they offer a lot more than burgers. In fact, they sell many more tacos than burgers! I know what an authentic Mexican taco is because I lived in Mexico for years. While these are definitely Americanized, these are their version of a taco dorado, and I have to admit are pretty tasty! I also like their grilled sandwiches and curly fries.
The drinks are self served with one of those machines that dispenses a million different flavors of sodas, lemonade, and sports drinks. OK, probably fewer than a million, but more than the average fast food joint.
You may also order items off their breakfast menu any time of day.

The DoorDash driver called us and said that, upon his arrival, the Jack in the Box staff told him that they did not receive our order. After the driver talked to the Manager, the order mysteriously appeared. Upon receiving the delivery, we discovered that they charged us for 3 of the 3pc breakfast platters, yet we only had one - and it didn't have sausage. I called the Jack in the Box, but the person who picked up the phone immediately hung up on me. This happened over a dozen times. 🤬 Finally, I called the Jack in the Box on Monte Cristo and the manager asked me to send her a screenshot of the on-line receipt and tracking number. She then, somehow, contacted the Manager of the Jack in the Box on 1602 W University and got our order corrected. 😃 I then called the DoorDash driver and informed him of the situation - and he said he was already in route to the Jack in the Box to pick up another order and happily agreed to pick up our order. After he returned with the 2 missing breakfast platters, we discovered the Manager had personally included a single piece of cheesecake. 😁 All in all, the staff was incompetent but the Manager makes up for them. I can't believe they screwed up such a simple order and I'm only giving one star because of the Managers' awesome customer service. The food, however, was delicious - especially the perfectly cooked eggs! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Read moreThis is by far the WORST customer experience I've ever had. I have never had a business refuse to give me my money back for goods/services I never received. That is called STEALING, folks. I ordered delivery directly through the website, never received my food, and everyone at the store REFUSES to give me my money back. They keep skirting responsibility, blaming it on the corporate office. The manager, Mariela, is unreachable. This is not your employees' responsibility to handle, it is the manager's, and she's never offered to help me settle this. Even then, I was told she said I could not get my money back, only the food I ordered FOUR DAYS AGO. They refuse to give me the number of the area manager to settle this.
