6/23/19 - I was a faithful customer until: 1) I got HORRIBLE foot fungus which required me to go to the doctor because over-the-counter creams didnt work. WATCH THE TECH CAREFULLY...because you'll see them REUSE their metal tools and decitfully put it back in the "sterlie" evelope. They also DO NOT reject people with nail fungus! I witnessed one of the techs "fixing" a thick green, yellow, and brown toe nail with the electric file, acrylic powder/brush, and shellac. YUUUUUCK!!!! 2) I paid $45 dollars for shellac nails only to have them literally peel off the next day. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and had them use the same OPI 33 Light Yellow. Sure enough though, just after one day, THREE nails lifted & peeled off. I went back AGAIN so they could fix it but this time i requested another color to avoid me coming back for a THIRD time in one week (like hello, ive got things to do). This time they wanted me to pay an EXTRA $15 for "changing color". They spoke to me very rudely and were not at all accomodating inspite of my loyalty every month. I started to come here when Lily and Bella opened up the shop. Lily has now moved to Houston so it appears that their humility and priorities have changed. NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN, I'D RATHER GO...
Read moreFIRST off, there was mold in the little purple liquid jar that they use to put on shellac. I, the person i am gave them the benefit of the doubt and told myself “it’s black nail polish” to not gross myself out. SECOND this lady was RUSHING, and i mean RUSHING. she would stop doing my nails to go do some other ladies nails and stop doing her nails to come back to me so on and so forth back and forth. THIRD my nails are bumpy and i told her i wanted them long and she filed them short. which the length whatever i didn’t make a big deal out of because my nails will eventually grow and i could just get a refill but the bumpiness? like cmon don’t rush just to get to everyone. FOURTH a lady sitting next to me went in to get ONE nail fixed and had told me she had been waiting over and HOUR until they started on her. FIFTH i only got a full set of shellac & i took my mom with me to get her nails done and all they did to her was put Gel or acrylic on her nails? i don’t remember what it was, basically she didn’t get the fake nails she used her real nails. and they charged us 135 for the both of us. ridiculous. never again will i go back i will be going down the street to 107 nails and spa for a price better than 135...
Read moreI used to like this place, but I won’t be going back. I went in for OPI’s Bubble Bath and the nail tech kept showing me samples and didn’t know the Bubble Bath so I decided to just select a color similar to it. The brand was so weird and looked cheap. The color then started pulling away from my nails and she just kept adding and adding. Other nail techs came to comment and she just kept adding it. Finally, I had to stop her and ask for another color. She got very upset and stared scrubbing the gel off. She told me that it was because my hands were so dry. The nail tech next to her said it was because the color was too light. I’ve had OPI’s pale Bubble Bath before so I don’t know who to believe. I selected a darker pink and it went on well. Unfortunately, 2 days later the top coat has gotten cloudy and you no longer really see the original pink. It’s disgusting. I will never go back to this place. I would rather pay more at Sapphire Nails on 10th where I know they do a good job that lasts. Oh, and thank you for sanding my nails down to the point that they will break when I remove this paint...
