LA Crawfish — Restaurant in Edinburg

I've frequented this chain since they first had their one restaurant in McAllen. Today's experience is the last straw for my family and myself. We ordered four pounds of crawfish and received two pounds for free with a promotion that they had today. I asked that only four pounds be brought to our table so the bags wouldn't get cold as we ate, the cashier told me that's fine they could do that. When we finished the crawfish we had at our table we asked for the others to be brought they tell me that we had ate all six pounds. I spoke to the manager, a tall bald man, and he told me that they weighed our order and it was six pounds. I couldn't dispute his claim but when I picked up the bags of crawfish they didn't feel like they were three pounds each. I'll say that I might be mistaken, but I don't think I am. If they would have told me that they can't bring our order in sections and we received all our six pounds I might have believed them but I think they just shorted us the two free pounds. This doesn’t even deserve one star as a rating. This location has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Apparently there’s a new policy of no food outside of the restaurant allowed. We were still consuming from this restaurant and giving our money to them and the cashiers need some etiquette training. There was no sign near where they were pointing with their fingers of “their new policy”. Mind you we’ve been there before with our kids who have eaten McDonald’s because they don’t eat sea food. I completely understood the policy and one of the cashiers stated they could even take our order at all until we voiced we would just carry out the food. Eventually we asked for a manager because it bothered them our kids eating their pizza while we waited for our food and the manager was not in and a waitress came.They kicked us out and refunded our money because apparently our kids were eating there food while we waited for the food and it , bothered the waitress more than the customers There should always be a manager in every...

So disappointed, been coming here all the way from Harlingen. First few times we good, this last time was so disappointing. I ordered crawfish for myself and my son asking medium Spicey. When we got our order, there was hardly no garlic butter sauce, nor spicey. The worst part is they tasted gross! The fish tasted as if they were not purged before cooking, the meat looked and felt like rubber. So we told the staff about the issue and did not hesitate to refund me my money. So I decided to order something else, so I ordered the beef pho and my son a fried basket. When I got my pho, good lord I was 2-0 . The broth did not have a good taste, the noodles were still hard. I asked the server if I can have some limes, 15 minutes later no limes, no refill for my family no waiter in sight.
