ShakeExpress Edinburg — Restaurant in Edinburg

I’ve been living here in Edinburg for many years. Never even knew this place was here. Certainly has room for a lot of potential. Similar establishment across the street was packed at this same time 12:00-1:00 in the afternoon. I’m the only one here at this establishment. My suggestion is the large brown structure in the front is your advertisement advantage if you just get rid of the vines cut these weeds and affix proper advertisement on the structure itself along with lighting.No marquis visible with business name other than on the building which is barely visible from the super traffic on McColl which is the business advantage. No pole flags outside. Look at the businesses across the street and you will see them doing well. This is my professional assessment. This information is not intended to harm you rather to help you. I arrived at 7:40 and ordered 2 large black magic detox. I was told the juice machine was closed for the evening so they couldnt make it for me. I was told I can order something else that didnt require fresh juice. I ended up ordering a berry drink and asked for peanut butter to be added. She told me it would cost more. I asked her to give it to me for free since I was unable to get what I really wanted. She reluctantly said yes. At the window a young man took our money and gave us our drinks. The guy had a very stone face and when I said thank you to him I got no response. Obviously, they were not happy with me. Previously the girl told me that they usually shut down the juice machine at 7:30. I told her that was wrong since they are suppose to be open until 8p. Not happy with this service. They start cleaning before they close, they shouldn't post a closing time if they don't make drinks after they clean the equipment for drinks but they are still "open".

*Thank you for the response. I walked in 10 till 5p.m. Rang the bell, waited a minute or two, then rang the bell again for timing reference. I didn't finish my errands in south Mcallen so I could get there before close. I understand they want to leave but this is part of being 'open'...
