A Quesadilla Experience Like No Other
First time dining at Los Machetes Quesadillas Factory, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience. We ordered the Machete, a colossal 21-inch quesadilla filled with our choice of delicious fillings, and it did not disappoint. We also tried 2 empanadas de fajita and a cuchillito de fajita (a kid's version of the Machete). Every bite was a burst of flavor!
Even though the food is made to order, it arrived at our table surprisingly quickly. The service was impeccable, thanks to our server Sophie, who was extremely professional and very polite. She made sure we had everything we needed and made the entire dining experience delightful.
A special mention to the filtered or purified water they serve, which is a huge plus. Itās details like this that make a dining experience stand out.
Los Machetes Quesadillas Factory is now a favorite spot, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for fantastic food and exceptional service. We will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I went for lunch on the recommendation of one of his coworkers. Upon entering; we were welcomed and seated immediately. Our waiter greeted us, took our drink order, and left us to look over the menu. We ordered a Machete Azteca, one empanada with tinga de res, a sope de picadillo, and one fried torta de chorizo con papa. The food was freshly made and hot. Everything we ordered was delicious!! I especially enjoyed the empanada and the machete. The green and red salsa were good, but their version of pico de Gallo was different. It was made with cucumbers, red onion, and orange bell pepper. It was different, but very good. It paired very well with the food. We also ordered fresh limonada, and that was freshly made as well. Word of caution ā ļø u do have to pay for every every drink refill. Overall, it was a very clean restaurant, food was made fast and fresh, and I highly recommend this restaurant. We are definitely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLos Machetes Quesadilla Factory is a local family-owned restaurant. It's nestled in north Edinburg. It's modest with a quaint, lively atmosphere. They make 21-inch machetes ā griddle-crisped behemoths; the handmade tortilla is lightly toasted without being too crunchy and is sturdy enough to hold in all the meat and cheese! Let's not forget the excellent fresh house-made (3) salsas that turn up the flavors and the heat. The aguas frescas are freshly made and are so refreshing. Los Machete is no gimmick but rather a good taco meant to slay appetites. It's authentic and accurate to Mexico's DF cuisine. The machetes come with cheese and various guisados: You can choose between Huitlacoche, Hawaiiano, Squash Blossoms, Tinga, Rajas con Elote, and many more fillings. My favorite is the Rajas con Elote machete. It's scrumptious until the last bite. I highly...
