To the BJs in Edison, NJ. Next to Chucks Cheese. I went to the tire service to replace my spare with a used & the mechanic Jason informed me after already doing the service that he was able to patch up my old tire bc it was only leaking by the rim And I don't need another tire but it should get me by. Never mentioned anything about another new or used tire. Two days later as I'm driving to work this morning I see smoke on the side of the car, pull over and the tire like exploded and the rim is half way off!!
After calling triple A and in the mist of me waiting 2hrs and 40min for them. i called Jason and he informed me again it's bc I need new tires And that BJs does not offer used and he didn't have my tire size At the time. I'm like why not inform me with that info on Friday, You simply took my spare off and put the same bs tire back on? He said yes. How is that not a set up or dangerous?? Why not tell the customer I'm going to put your spare back on we don't sell used and we do not have your tire size you have to go somewhere else unfortunately? That's okay to mislead and lie to your customers. I was referred to BJs tires, I'm new to the area so that's the only reason I trusted going.
I then called management and she began to tell me they are not allowed to touch tires that are not from BJ so he was doing me a favor by patching it. No, cut the bs. I didn't come there asking for a favor I asked for a tire. Bc he didn't have my size he thought the next best thing to do was fake patch it up then tell me they don't have my tire size after the fact. That's messed up! Continuing the convo she then put the blame on me and cussed at me and told me she can't do nothing besides now offer me a new tire that I would need to pay for in full and then hung up out of anger B4 I could even respond. Smh. How about an apology for your employee putting my life at risk at least Ms Manager!
So if I understand correctly your BJ tire service does illegal favors as in touch tires that's not from BJs, don't inform the customer on wether or not they have a tire size , & put the same bs tire back on knowing it is still dangerous. rather then be a real one and tell the customer I put your spare back on you need to go somewhere else bc of xyz. that's not right at all. If I would of know they did not have used and didn't have my tire size I would have went somewhere else Not wait an hr for Jason to set me up. Have some respect and consideration for ppl's safety as another human being if you are a real mechanic and I will be leaving reviews until I get an apology and I will be contacting corporate Jason and Ms...
Read moreI am a truck driver. This is the fifth time that I’ve come here to deliver most of the time it’s water. I got here at 2 o’clock in the afternoon after they’re receiving done for the day. My delivery is for the next day, but most BJ’s. I’ve ever gone to and a lot of them. The manager will always find a way to get me unloaded even if I’m early anyway I had to spend the night here I waited for them to unload me in the morning at 5:30. I was there. Handed my paperwork in. my appointment for seven it’s now 8 o’clock. I’ve been sitting at the door after I asked them how much longer they finally gave me a door. They just started to move some freight off the truck. Anyway, I know my appointment was for seven but this place does not care about a truck driver who needs to move his truck to the next Pick up And drive over 600 miles now that half the morning is over. This BJ’s here in Edison, New Jersey absolutely does not care about the Truck Driver I understand they don’t have a lot of room in the back there, but when I came in there, there was not enough room in the back of the loading dock aria so there’s nobody moving stuff around during the afternoon to make room for the deliveries in the morning, so that’s what they’re doing And on top of that, there’s a couple trailers here that they’re unloading without a truck driver even here instead of helping the Truck Driver who is here doesn’t make sense My opinion if I was managing this store, I would’ve personally unloaded me the Water load the day before if they’re gonna leave everything in the loading dock for the next guys to come in, and can’t get unloaded This is a serious thing. This is not fun. It’s not how BJ’s work I’ve delivered Many deliveries. Very upsetting My day is shot now and I’ve wasted already all kinds...
Read moreHey Kelly, the "manager," and the corporate managers who were present this morning—this is why people prefer to shop online. After being a BJs member for several years, the poor service I received today was enough to make me reconsider ever stepping foot in your store again.
I came in this morning, desperate for a birthday cake for my daughter. The original cake I had prepared for her fell and was ruined, so I was hoping the bakery could help me out with a simple solution. All I needed was a blank cake—just something I could decorate myself. But when I asked the bakery staff for help, the response I got was shocking. The employee told me flatly, "I'm not doing that today. You need 24 hours' notice."
I understand policies, but I wasn't asking for anything complex—just a blank cake. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was met with more of the same dismissiveness. The manager didn't even let me explain before cutting me off with, "We don't have cakes, we can't help you." No empathy, no willingness to find a solution—just a flat-out refusal.
To make matters worse, when I got home, I found out that BJs had the exact cake I was looking for available on DoorDash. I ordered it, and guess what? It showed up. So, thank you, Kelly, and the rest of the team, for the total lack of care and the extra effort I had to go through.
Needless to say, I won't be renewing my membership, and I'll stick to ordering online from now on. At least then, I don’t have to deal with unhelpful staff who can’t even be bothered to find a simple solution for a long-time customer
And I uploaded a picture of proof of my...
