I came here for the first time and only time after the experience. I looked at the Google reviews lightly before coming here, I should have looked harder. More then 80% of the reviews came from opening weekend and the overwhelming majority of the people leaving the reviews have only one or two reviews to their name. They must have been either pushing reviews or buying them.
The wait staff was neither particularly attentive, nor helpful.
The food was brought out in extra small portions and some of the seafood and fish smelled like it was frozen, and questionable to eat.
Lastly, the price point was completely unreasonable for the service and the food. There is 4 other all you can eat hotpot/bbq places within a 10 minute drive of here and this place is twice as expensive. 70$ a person with a two person minimum is SIGNIFICANTLY overpriced for both the local market and for the experience being provided.
Save your money and go to another one of the local spots - little sheep, kpot, butcher 365, and picnic Korean BBQ are are close to here, the food is just as good if not better, and you don't pay a premium for a standard at best experience.

Read moreI recently visited Chongqing Wharf, and I was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience! The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with modern yet traditional touches that really set the mood for a warm meal. The service was excellentâattentive but not overbearingâand our server helped guide us through the menu, which was perfect for first-timers.
The variety of ingredients was exceptional. From fresh vegetables to premium cuts of meat, there was something for everyone. The broths were rich and flavorful, and I particularly loved the spicy Sichuan option, which had the perfect balance of heat and depth. The dipping sauces were another highlight, with multiple options to customize your flavor profile.
The experience of cooking everything at the table was interactive and fun. It was a great way to enjoy the meal leisurely, as we chatted and experimented with different combinations of ingredients. The portions were generous, and everything tasted incredibly fresh.
Overall, Chongqing Wharf provides an authentic and satisfying hotpot experience. Whether you're a hotpot enthusiast or a newcomer, it's definitely...
Read moreI have been here three times since they opened. The first time was about 2 months since they opened. Everything was perfect. Unlimited durian, fresh lobster and great quality salmon sashimi and premium beef slice. Then second time was in Feb. I can tell they served smaller portion in every order and i had to keep adding order and they were slow in serving 2nd and 3rd orders. But still, i can accept that because they still have good quality food, and unlimited durian. Their servers even peeled the shrimp sashimi for you, exceptional service. so, yesterday was my third time there. They told me they no longer offer durian and instead they gave 1 fresh coconut per person (not unlimited). Their salmon sashimi smelled bad, shrimp sashimi smell like frozen for more than a year. And this time noone peeled shrimps for you. The fried mantou tasted like a paper soaking in oil. Beef slice was served in a very small portion and took forever to get additional orders. Everything was wrong and significant decreased quality. I am very disappointed by now and i don't think with the current food they offer, it worths the...
